  1. Up to Gigabit, but fortunately I have fixed the problem! I went to other threads on another forum site and saw some pre installed Internet boosters that manufacturers have and low and behold, I had one aswell. was called cFosSpeed or something like that, but thank you sincerely both for the help! Gosh I wish manufacturers would stop pre installing garbage like this. *sigh*
  2. Yes, 100 Mbps on the laptop with Ethernet. The speeds being received on the laptop are far superior than the ones being received on my new PC, which is the problem that I need help with. My old PC (which isn't the laptop) received 300 Mbps up and down. Laptop caps at 100 Mbps but it would be getting 300 Mbps if it had Gigabit capability.
  3. It's 100 Mbps up and down directly connected into the extender. I don't think it's the extender since it's producing the speeds I want on the laptop and I didn't have any problems on the old pc with it.
  4. Ah I see, I'll test that on the laptop. But wired directly into the Extender, I get 100 Mbps up and down. Edit: The results for the WiFi test were 30 Mbps up and down.
  5. Results were around 100 Mbps up and down. Tested 3 times and it was relatively the same.
  6. It's an AirTies Model 4920 provided by the ISP. I'll plug in my laptop and check out the connection quickly. I'll reply again with the results
  7. Hello. I've recently built a new PC with brand new parts and I've run into a problem. I've noticed that only on this PC, my upload is only nearing 10 Mbps while my download is around 100 Mbps. Now, this is where the problem lies. My other PC did around 300 Mbps up and down together with ease, so I'm having a bit of a head scratcher cause I just can't seem to find out why. Things I've done: Updated all MOBO drivers (Including Network) Turned off metered connection Made sure the Speed and Duplex setting in Device Manager was set to my 2.5 Gbps Made sure it wasn't the router other device being affected. I'm wired directly to an extender. I've also got AT&T Fiber, but while the extender is obviously not going to reach the full Gigabit, It should be giving me 300-500Mbps like usual. Specs (If anyone needs it) MSI Z490-A Pro 1200 LGA Intel 10700k 32 GBs of 3200 MHz of RAM 2080 FE 750W 80+ Gold Any and all help is truly appreciated, I'm really stumped as I was going to begin streaming as this PC can now handle it. Thank you!
  8. Hi, I'm trying to boot up an old pc, but to my dismay and much troubleshooting, it doesn't want to show any display. I've reseated the CMOS battery (display started working, but then stopped after the pc restarted). I then reseated the CMOS battery once again and the display never kicked on. I replaced the CMOS with another one, and like the other one, display turned on and then never came back on. Reseated again and doesn't want to show anymore. I have a keyboard and mouse connected and those are lighting up, but I'm just at a loss. Not sure what to do any longer to fix this problem. Specs include: Intel i3-2130 (Reseated already) x1 4GB DDR3 (I've reseated this aswell) Joshua-H61-uATX MOBO Intel HD Graphics 2000 1 TB HDD All help appreciated.
  9. Oh my goodness, I’m the biggest goof of all time. When I first reseated it, one of the pins like I expected was not in all the way. Turning it on now, it is at a sight to see, 30 degrees. Thank you everyone for the help as I leave this topic totally embarrassed, lol.
  10. Done as asked, and I did feel as though when I first reseated it it was not in all the way properly. When I reseated it now, it is most DEFINITELY in. I will turn it on now to see if the temperature rising the same as before.
  11. I get what you are trying to say. This cooler absolutely SUCKS trying to reinstall it but I’ll reseat it, maybe it’ll fix it
  12. Intel stock, I put a tad bit more than a pea size
