My wife won this last year and she tries to play games on it. It has a stock intergrated Intel 6200 HD graphics. It has a HDMI port which I am wondering can be hooked up to an external desktop graphic card? I was looking at

which is similar to something Linus did a video on a while back and it receives a HDMI cable. I believe this cable is used for sending and receiving data to the external unit. Would this work with a regular HDMI port? I don't have money for a new rig.
