  1. Hey all, My mother really enjoys experiencing new things, but since she has certain limits of travel capabilities. Lately however, she has always been really interested in VR in terms of it's viewing potential. For example, she talks about how she'd love to be able to peruse city streets or an underwater experience without actually going. She also probably won't take up safari or scuba in the next few years, so this has the potential of being the next best thing. They have a fairly rudimentary system that my father had built at Memory Express last year, (Ryzen 2600, 1050 TI, 8G RAM) which I know can run most low-demand software that they use day to day, but I was wondering if it would be possible to find a lower budget VR system where latency for gaming isn't a concern, and it's purely a viewing experience. And if these sorts of street-perusing/dive experience things even exist? I've seen a few LTT videos on VR but a lot of them seem fairly gaming focused and I'd like to take this a different direction. Thanks very much for your time. -B [EDIT] Just to clarify, ideally they would just need the VR peripherals, which I should have mentioned before. ie: The viewer and controller. I was more specifically just wondering if that system could run such a thing and if so, which would be the most budget conscious headset to buy?
