  1. Alright, going with this. Just switching out the ram for the suggested ripjaw 3600, and got the extra 5 fans. Is there anything else that I'll need before I checkout?
  2. I was planning on going with the ripjaw ram that was suggested, as this is my first build and I know very little about what I'm doing.
  3. " motherboard M.2 slot #1 shares bandwidth with SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports. When the M.2 slot is populated, two SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports are disabled" is this something I need to worry about? I have absolutely no clue what this means aside from what m.2 and sata generally are.
  4. Awesome, thank you! Thanks to you both, is there anything I could possibly need? Or would I be able to just buy all the parts, build it and be on my way, take for granted I don't yardsale anything along the build lol
  5. This looks great, Thanks to everyone who replied with help super quick. Only question is with the B450, will I need to update the bios for the r5? Only been researching a few days and I've noticed a ton of people recommending the tomahawk max due to not needing to flash the bios? I'm a noob, so chances are I'm 10% correct haha. I believe I read about the cxm being bad on the forum in someone else's build. Not sure what E12 is or which power supply would be better to replace the cxm with. Just a standard 550-600W bronze 80+? I have no preference over gpu's. Just kind of Frankenstein'd parts from different peoples builds/videos with my very limited knowledge.
  6. New to this. Some help would be nice to part this together. Ultimately just want to play fortnite and rocket league with my kid at high fps, also some modern warfare. Budget I would like to max at about $1000-1200.
