If you seen that series of videos:
with linus and Luke, trying their best to cool a CPU with some TECs (thermo electric cooling)
But they were doing it the LTT way, so i want to explain why that didn't worked out, and submit a future video projet to that serie.
First, the explaination of their failure:
Tec doesn't cool, it chills down already cool things, putting a bit of heat on the cold side of the peltier, and it's gone.
So here's my theory:
You need to cool down the water before it's going into the tec's waterblock, a 240 or 360rad should do the job to cool the water to around 30~35°C under load, then, before the water go back to the reservoir, you put the TEC "chilling unit" that chill the water down to 15~25°C under load. More cold is the intake water, more efficient it will be to cool the CPU, if some LTT staff see that and that you understood, that will be awesome to do a video about it, that is bad karma to stay onto a failure.
