  1. It turned out to be a faulty RAM stick... Thanks!
  2. His old computer has DDR3.. And he doesn't have any other ram. We tried to boot it with only one stick of ram in (tried both of them since its 2x8gb) but we still haven't gotten it to post. We figured out that his HDD was defective and prevented his old computer from posting when we plugged it into his old pc. So, we took the old drive from his old pc that has windows 10 on it. Now when he tries to turn on the computer, the cpu light comes on, then turns off, and the boot light re-appears.
  3. We've just attempted that, but the same issue persists.
  4. Hi, I'm helping a friend build a computer. I've walked him through the whole process on Discord and he has viewed some build guides as well. When he turns on the computer, the EZ Debug indicator lights up the "boot" light on the mobo. We've tried to re-seat the memory, (our dual-channel setup is slot 2 and 4), we've tried to reset the CMOS, we have tried to boot with a Windows install USB (windows is not yet installed, we cannot get to that point...), we've spammed every key imaginable to try to get it into the BIOS, but nothing is working. The same "boot" light was a solid-red on the motherboard. That was until we tried to boot it without ANY of the ram in. When we tried that, the "VGA" light came on in the EZ Debug section. Here's a list of the main components: Ryzen 5 3600 Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3666 Zotac RTX 2070 SUPER MSI x570-a PRO Samsung 970 EVO 500GB Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM Any help is greatly appreciated Thanks, Caleb.
