It’s probably a gpu issue have you tried

hi guys..
kinly need your about this rumours
is it true
if i use nvme and ssd in same cpu will reduce nvme speed or it willl perform same level as ssd

Stopped after first few - you will always communicate to the lowest common denominator (someone correct me if wrong) so if you are moving files from an NVMe SSD to a SATA SSD it will work to the slowest one, which would be the SATA SSD (most commonly unless shit NVMe drive).
If somehow you were working on a file that was spread between 2 drives (NVMe speeds and SATA SSD speeds for example) and wasnt transfer intensive, I dont think you would see a difference (can you even do that? I cant think of a use case where you could)

The only thing to keep in mind is a lot of motherboards will disable a regular SATA port or two when you use a M.2.

maniey reacted to Yea, i use windows, W in ultrawide monitor need help
yes but would preffer you get a amd cpu for better igpu and better performance as intel cpu's really only shine in gaming and amd cpus are cheaper too

NVMe is a standard at which storage drives can communicate.
We only have NVMe SSDs though because we don't have HDDs small enough to fit.
So your question doesn't work.

I am not sure about what you mean. Are you afraid that a SATA SSD will bottleneck an nvme one? That's not how it works though

maniey reacted to mr cheese in NVME and SSD myth?
they're saying that if you use a SATA SSD and NVMe drive in the same system it will slow down the NVMe drive
This isn't true. Each drive works at their own rated speeds only limited by the connection youhave them plugged into

Right now in the tech world Nvme Is Pretty Cheap and will actually "boost" your pc's preformance. but using both could confuse the system and potentially slow your system.

This doesn't really make sense. Could you rephrase your question or provide us with an example of what exactly you mean in order for us to understand better.

I don't think you can do that.
These rumors are false.
NVMe/PCIe and SATA are independent standards without converters.
-
maniey reacted to WhitetailAni in NVME and SSD myth?
If I can use 1 NVMe SSD, 1 SATA SSD, and 4 SATA HDDs, you're fine.
-
maniey reacted to Analog in NVME and SSD myth?
Yes. I have two NMVe drives, a normal SATA SSD and HDD all connected to my rig. No issues whatsoever.

yes...this is totally my question..thanks for answer and sorry for bad english..

Not to sure but i will look into it. And Hit you up with some results to your answer to.

Yeah, the voltages are not going to be exact.
They don't need to be, just close enough that they are within tolerances.
Also though voltmeters are not going to be exact in their measurements either as they can be slightly off too, as they also have tolerances/accuracy, drift and if possible calibration that goes for onboard monitoring to high end multi meters.
We need more information on what this device is, why it's not working.
Troubleshooting wise you need to narrow down the cause, what is the same or different between the two, what parts can you substitute or swap to confirm the fault and so on.

Means the numbers are as expected for a system.sitting at idle

it looks normal but onboard sensors for these voltages tend to be inaccurate

maniey reacted to bmx6454 in PSU 12v+5v Power Draw
the voltages look okay. if you have a volt meter, measure the volts at the molex connector you are trying to use, easy way to tell if it's the psu/connector, or the device you connected, assuming you haven't just tried a different connector.

waters tricky, give it a few days and hope it doesnt corrode anything, or open it up and let it dry and put it back together in a few hours

If your going to let it sit. Open it up and set a box fan in front of it.
