I am looking at building my nephew a pc he can use with a quest 2 for christmas. I am not sure what kind of specs it would need to be. I have an old r5 3600x and a gigabyte b550 motherboard with 16gb ram. I was looking at getting something like a 2060 super. Would this setup be ok?

I have been monitoring my cpu/gpu usage. My gpu does run at 99% and cpu hit 60% max. So I am guessing my cpu is fine and is not a bottleneck.

I have a 160hz monitor so was hoping for something above that.

I have just upgraded to an rog strix 4080. I am not sure if my r9 5900x is a bit of a bottleneck for the card. I play at 1440p and play battlefield and I have just got modern warefare 3. I am not sure if I was expecting to much. In mw3 i am getting around 145fps avearage and the same on battlefield. Is it worth looking at an 14900k?

I think my computer should be ok for vr. I have an r9 5900x with a 3080ti and 32gb ram. Would I need a 4080/4090?

I am looking at getting a vr headset to mainly play msfs and f1 2023 and try to find some fitness stuff as well. Any suggestion or what should I look for in a vr headset?

Decided to have another look at everything again today. It is not the gpu making the sound. It is the psu. I am rather relieved!

It has got a 6 year warranty so I am going to try to rma the card. Got nothing to lose by trying.

I have just used afterburner to adjust the fans speeds and it makes no difference so definitely not the fans. The sound stays the same when it's under any kind of load. It only stops when I go back to the desktop. Can I send the card away to have the inductors changed?

I was playing rocket league and scored a cracking goal. In my celebration I have kicked my case by accident and now my 3080ti is making a loud buzzing sound under load. On the desktop it is fine. I have set the fans to 100% on the desktop and there is no noise so it's not the fans. The card runs fine but the sound is terrible. Any ideas what I have done to it? Can it be fixed? Recently brought an LG 27GP80 but I am going to be returning it as the back light bleed is terrible. Has anyone got any suggestions for a 27 inch 1440p 144hz monitor with a max budget of £700? I am having a hard time understanding what I need to be looking for in a monitor.

Updated my asus rt-ax86u firmware to version 3.0.0.4.388.22525. Lost internet. Asus gui was telling me disconnected ethernet cable between my router and modem(Virgin media super hub 3) or dhcp error. Reset everything. Still no joy. Did a factory reset on the router. Still no internet. Went back to Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388.22068. Did a factory rest. Internet straight away. Tried to update to the latest firmware again. Lost internet again. Did a factory reset. No internet(Did try 4 different ethernet cables). Went back to Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388.22068. Did a factory reset. Internet straight away again. I think if you have this asus rt-ax86u router and a virgin superhub 3 it be best to avoid this latest firmware update!

I just wonder if it is a glitch with hwinfo reporting thermal limit. I was concerned it may of been reading another sensor that was not displaying the info.
