  1. Okey I found a Solution after another like 3 houers of trying. What I did was I hard flashed the drive, by installing windows in another drive where it worked and then turned of the pc. Disconnected the working drive and gone through booting again. Then at the start I pressed shift + F10 to get into CMD then I went throug the commands diskpart; list disk; select disk <the number of the boot drive>; clean; exit; exit (mind you I did not format the drive to GPT) after that I went through the windows install, got to the reboot, pulled the stick out and it worked like a miracle. Very weird experiance but enyway ihm done here.
  2. Well I tried with normal Windows boot stick tool I got from microsoft website, and i tried with multiple winows builds i got from rufus donwload
  3. Tried it multiple times doesnt help, after the install it isnt even recognised as an UEFI drive
  4. It is recognised in the bios, where do i set it as drive 0?
  5. My specs: Intel I-7700K Asus X270E Motherboard (newest Bios version) Samsung 970 EVO (on which I want to install windows) GTX 1080TI Be quiet power zone 750W PSU A few day ago I wanted to reinstall windows on a new drive (Samsiung 970EVO) on my PC. This is nothing new to me. But I ran into problems. I already sah a few threads talking about it but nothing helped. My problem is that when i go through the windows setup procedure it always returns back to the bios like there is no windows on the drive(I always remove the USB at the 10 second restart warning). I tested with another drive that the problem isn't one with the installation media or the pc specs it works perfectly with a (samsung 860 evo). I already tried installing older windows builds with rufus using the two ways on rufus (with and without CSM), I also used the windows own creation media for the stick. I tried a lot with my CSM option and the secure boot opions. So my question is what do I need to set in the BIOS that I can use my M.2 as a boot drive I am really at the end of my expretice, and also slowly getting annoyed after trying for 5 hours over 3 eavenings. Also under the boot drives after the restart there is no partition with UEFI at the start.
