I use it as modern iPod touch, iCloud services device and 4K camera. Yes it is slippery device 🙂

I understand your opinion regarding your migration to other OS, but for most people, usability and familiarity is more important, the same reason, somehow many company still use windows server, since its working for them. I currently running severly cut down version of Windows 11 Pro N edition with custom windows imaging tools configuration, which is disabling almost anything regarding telemetry and bloatware, so I can say I using it as almost bare as posibble, and that on top of that I running it under Proxmox VE, so its even more isolated. For most of my daily task, I running eiher manjaro or Mint VM on the same Proxmox instance. It is what it is I guess 😅

Firs impression. Picture quality really good, deep blacks, fast OS, pixel clear when using as PC monitor. From box needs additional colour correction.  Slim borders. For me personally, i really did not see difference in PPI beetwen my old 24" MSI monitor and this TV. So its basically works great as desktop monitor, even if you sitting close enough. But here is trick, if you use TV as monitor never open app to full screen, always do separate zones for content. Some one like to split it in half and have two horizontal wide screen. I like center oriented space.
 
Gaming expirience. Great. Just as it must be. Racing games, and online shoters great.
 
OS expirience. Nothing to say it is android. You can install any app you like. Even download pirated contents via torrents. If you want to.  And it have mic in remote. So, if you want you can activate smart home features using TV. I personally install mi home app to watch secutity cameras.

Your 12v line is dropping under 10v. That will cause a crash every time.

One simple trick to double fps. No joke.  Works only with modern TV.
 
Recently I played with settings in old game: GTA V Game stil gorgeus in graphics. In 4K looks great. In my PC1 max settings with TXAA MSAA FXXA etc. I can only have 30-45 fps. So I made trick, set fps lock to 30  and enable motion smoth in my TV2 So game still rtenders in 30 fps but modern interpolation algorythm doing great job. Everything looks like exactly like 60 fps gameplay. Yes there is barely seen artifacts.  Of course this is still 30 fps gameplay not graet for competitive, but if you interested in story mode gameplaywith better graphics (or you have weak hardware but modern TV) use this trick.

Spending hundreds of $$ on gpu's when half the games such as EA are not even interested in making games for PC.

Really nothing to show off. But for me setup is cool.
Ryzen51600AF, RTX3050. 43" XIaomi smart TV as monitor. Yes it is comfortable using TV as monitor, IPS panel doing great job.

 

edit: Oh i see, time for dust cleaning.

I am also contemplating same TV for the monitor. 
mostly work, some occasional gaming (i can get more than 60 pfs in 4k, so it would be a waste...but since this thing is now on sale fpr 250 EUR, i feel heartbroken to spend at least 800 for similar size monitors (next in line is Aorus  FV43U).
 
So torn on what to do :)
