Dear All just bought new build like this : Processor : Intel Xeon x5460 @3.16 ghz Harpertown, 45nm, core voltage 1.184v. MAinboard : Gigabyte EP43T-UD3L Rev. 1.0 Bios : Award Version F9 MEMORY : TOTAL 16 GB 4 Slot @SLOT : DDR3 PC3-12800 4 GB Windows 10 PRO VGA : NVIDIA Ge Force 9500 GT Cooling System : DEEP COOL ICE EDGE MINI FS V @2.0 my question is : 1. is it normal to have this run after windows boot (WITHOUT RUNNING ANY APPS), with temperature as follow : #### by using CPUID HW MONITOR #### Core #0 Min 58 Celcius, Max 64 Celcius, Utility 5-21% running for 10 minutes Core #1 Min 58 Celcius, Max 64 Celcius Utility 5-22% running for 10 minutes Core #2 Min 62 Celcius, Max 64 Celcius Utility 5-21% running for 10 minutes Core #3 Min 62 Celcius, Max 64 Celcius Utility 5-25% running for 10 minutes if i run stress test until 100 percent utilization, the temperature can reach until 84 Celcius max. ....is it normal? or ist ok if i keep this as my daily usage? 2. is there any recommendation to overclock my cpu to stable overclocking for daily usage? guide for newbie perhaps? thanks
