  1. So what you are saying is that it has a dedicated slot that i havent used? Or to put the mSata y have to remove the HDD or the Optical drive? I thought the hard drive could be replaced by a 2.5" ssd
  2. Hello everyone! ive got an HP laptop, model "HP Envy 15 K049la". I want to put an ssd on it, but i dont understand a lot of it and i have some questions. Could i replace the hard drive for an 2.5" SSD? Is there a dedicated M.2 slot for an extra SSD appart from the Hard Drive? in the manual it says its compatible with an M.2 ssd but i have some doubts. Lastly, i think you can remove the optical drive, install a caddy and put a 2.5" SSD on it, any ideas on how that works? Im very lost with this. Context: i found some threads on hp forums that say that it is compatible with: ● 256 GB M.2 SATA (MLC) (Multi Level Cell)● 256 GB M.2 SATA (TLC) (Triple Level Cell) and thats all i know. I also found the user manual: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04409752 but i couldnt find useful info. I know im asking for a lot but any help is appreciated! thanks!!!
