CPU: Ryzen 2600x
GPU: Gigabyte 1080ti 11GB OC
PSU: EVGA 650 GQ
MOBO: MSI X570 Gaming Plus (yes, unfortunately)
RAM: 2 x 8GB Kingston HyperX Fury Black 3200MHz
Storage: 1TB Samsung 980 EVO m.2 SSD + 2 x 2TB Western Digital HDD
Unfortunately, I don't have any other GPU to play with, this is all I'm working with.
I also think it's on the verge of dying.
It's straight to the black screen, in the middle of installing the driver, when Nvidia Installer shows "Installing graphics driver". After that, I get to the MSI Logo, and that's it. Didn't really check the Event Viewer, will check and report back. Currently, it's working fine with 391.35 Windows drivers, but everything else, big nope.
Under load (Witcher 3 -> Ultra, Plague Tale -> Ultra, 1080p) I get stable FPS with no crashing, with temps hovering around 80-83 degrees, 100% GPU utilization. The only problem are the drivers.
Couple of months before this, the GPU would either BSOD at random times and/or crash every browser window and/or the game currently playing and freeze the computer. The only solution was a fresh Windows install, and that lasted for a couple of weeks, then the cycle repeats. Back then, I had no problems installing any driver version.
