Specs? Are you sure you're installing it properly? Is the SSD set as the first boot option?

I think I'm just going to lowball them for $300 and try to get a better power supply, like you guys suggested. However if I do get more specifications on the items, I will update you guys on it.

You can order a replacement off ebay, but my recommendation is get a normal psu and just install it outside with the case panel removed.

Yvonne and Heather should make Linus and Kyle (and possibly Jay) do a bake-off for a cake in the shape of a computer e.g.
in a format similar to Netflix's "Nailed It"... That would be good for some laughs..
Edit: on second thought this cake might be better

I'm still going to look when I get home to confirm, but from a few minutes on Google it seems like it's likely a 240 watt, which won't even power a gtx1050. So I definitely need to upgrade that if that's at all possible.

OutLox got a reaction from sky_shark_101 in nintendo switch letdown and issues
In my opinion the Nintendo switch is a amazing console for what it is. But it does have its draw backs for instance its third party support is weak and I feel like Nintendo has been terrible at first party support as well. Most people I talk to tell me the switch has plenty first party games which is true if you never owned a wii u before. It feels like most of the system sellers switch has to offer can be found else where for cheaper. But you can't find another console that you can play doom 2016 on the go with.

The oldest devices that I currently use would be my original xbox and a dell inspiron 530s. I don't remember the model but I use to daily drive a older hp pocket pc for a while before I ended up losing it in a move.

OutLox reacted to dalekphalm in Xbox One X: Still Worth Upgrading To?
Debatable - depends on what the person values.
Outright factually incorrect - the Xbox One X has 12GB of RAM - most modern GPU's have 8GB of RAM - and those tend to be the higher end GPU's (The top tier ones come close - 11GB on the 2080 Ti - which costs not quite triple the cost of a One X).
Not always that easy, and you lose a significant amount of user friendliness by using a Windows PC on a couch - even with a controller.
I'll give you that you have to pay for XBL Gold - but it does have other benefits. 3 free games per month, and often some really good AAA ones too. That's also not counting if you spring for GamePass (which can be had for pretty cheap if you find the right ratio of converting prepaid XBL Gold cards to GamePass time).

Some people like using a PC on their living room PC - that's cool if you do, and you're willing to put up with the extra annoyances. I did for many years. Now? I just use a One S (may eventually upgrade to One X or the new one in a year or two) for Couch Gaming. It's easier, far more hassle-free, and doubles as an excellent kickass media player (YT, Netflix, etc) and Blu-Ray player.

There are pros and cons to doing both - let's not pretend like there's no value in the OP getting a One X.

I still play NES and SNES from time to time, so that should answer that.  Regularly, it'll be my Wii or N64.
