ok, i was kind of hoping this would be the answer as it seems to be an easy enough upgrade without breaking bank. About the ram itself, should i just get the same type of sticks (considering i can't seem to overclock my current kit) or get something better? if i do go better, is it recommended to go 2x16 or 4x8? i wanted to share a screenshot of my thaiphoon read, it appears that it does not indicate to me the type of die being used, which may be a reason why i am unable to overclock? has anyone ever dealt with no die info and successfully oc'ed ram? thanks!

Thanks for the response! i am actually running 2x8gb, i should have mentioned this. As for overclocking, i have not had any success using either the "try it!" feature in the bios or using the 1usmus tool. whenever i go in an make any changes it just wont boot and defaults back to original state. I really dont know what i am doing wrong. although, my understand would be that the ram isnt good for oc'ing, but i have just never been able to overclock other than xmp profiles. As for the gpu, yes i do i have a stable overclock running. CPU just using PBO from bios.

I currently have the following system/specs: B450 Gaming Plus Max Ryzen 3700x (PBO enabled) on Wraith Spire cooler G.Skill FlareX 16gb 3200 CL16 MSI Aorus 3060 TI The "problem" i am encountering is that when i stream, i see a significant drop in frames while in game (Warzone specifically) and increaseD CPU usage, which i understand is normal. If i am not streaming, everything is fine and CPU usage sitting at approx 60-65%. Can this be cause by the slow(er) ram speed or amount (16 vs 32?) Would i benefit from upgrade the mobo for PCI 4.0? In essence, what can be done to the above specs to make it better?

Hi everyone, trying to understand if i have an issue here with my particular system. I recently obtained a 3060 TI and getting poor performance in some games which lead me to investigate further. Im trying to see if my CPU is a bottleneck in this case. CPU: Ryzen 2600X - on PBO, stock cooler RAM: G.Skill Flare X 3200 Mobo: MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max I noticed that the clock speed on the cpu drops to 3.8-3.9 and never hits 4.0. When at idle, it sits around 4.1-4.15. Attached is a screenshot of the system under load. My question is, is it normal for the CPU to clock down and voltages to go down while under load? Is it because of the temps? thanks!

Getting similar issues, and based on the amount of people reporting this since the Season 1/BOCW launch, i believe this to be an issue with the game itself. I used to run the game on an RX580 and 2600x and it was working fine before the update, getting 120+ fps in game, but since update, dropped to below 90-100. I upgraded to a 3060 and did not see any improvements, still hovering around 100-110 in warzone. I should mention, i get solid 144+ in multiplayer Modern Warfare. Now it is totally possible that my 2600x is bottlenecking (im not sure how to determine this, just basing this on other threads), but the problem remains that prior to the update, it was fine with the RX580 and 2600x, just since update its been less than desirable. Hopefully a fix comes soon.

Hi everyone, having an issue with my new Aorus 3060 TI where the LCD Edge view reverts back to the Chibi/Egg thing upon starting my PC. I have it set to display the GPU stats but if i turn off the PC, when it restarts, it reverts back to the egg. Currently only using RGB Fusion 2.0 since i use Afterburner and did want to install the Aorus Engine in fear it would conflict having both Engine and Afterburner running. Anyone having a similar issue or know a fix? thanks

Hi everyone, just wondering how to setup my system to properly record audio when highlights are recorded. I understand why it is not working, trying to find a way to make it work. Currently using the HyperX Alpha Cloud S gaming headset. In Windows settings, there are 2 devices shown in audio: one for Game and one for Chat. The game device is the Default device for audio, and the Chat device is set as the Default Communication device. My understanding is that this is to allow volume control using the HyperX audio controller to increase/decrease voice/game audio. What happens when a highlight is recorded is it only picks up my voice but not my teammates. Is there a way to either setup Nvidia to record ALL audio (game/voice/chat) or setup Windows to do so? If i set my adio devices to only use the Game audio, will i lose the ability to control the balance of Game/Chat using the HyperX control? Any way to do this? thanks!

Thanks for this, I may end up getting new cables to avoid the uglyness! I do have a fully modular PSU which did not include dedicated 6 pin or 8 pin cable, both that were include were daisy chained 8 pins. I do wonder however, if I get a dedicated 6 pin only cable, would it work with my PSU? I have the P750GM as shown on attached pictures, but as you can see, the 6 pin connecter on the PSU says "peripheral IDE/SATA/Molex" and the 8 pin one is the one specified for PCI-e. Could it be a problem.connect the GPU to the IDE connector? Thanks! Thanks for the idea, I tried to route on the side similar to the 24 pin, was a tad bit short once connected to the PSU.

Hi everyone! Looking for tips on how to fix this ugly AF cable for my GPU... See attached image! Also, currently using 2 cables that are daisy chained but only using one per plug which are 1x 8 pin and 1x 6 pin, but as you can see, the 6 pin has the extra 2 pins just hanging there. Is there such a thing as a 6 pin to 8 pin adapter? Is it safe to use? Thanks!! EDIT: I should say, I know I can route then towards the front as the opening for the cable is right below, but this would cover part of the LCD screen and would look even worse.

ok, im going to try to OC the ram again... do you suggest using the Ryzen Calc or not? thanks everyone!

i tried to OC the ram using the DRAM calc tool and found that performance didnt work out. system was choppy while gaming so i reverted back to stock speed on it. I am not very versed in overclocking so i pretty much just followed the tool itself and enter the numbers as indicated, not sure if there is something else i could have done or something i did wrong that caused my system to because choppy. (what i mean by choppy is that would could see the system/mouse movement freeze for a split second every say 15-20 seconds).

Forgot to mention this, yes, SSD using the AData su800 Have 4 case fans running at the moment, 2 front pull and 2 top push. Case i am using is the MettalicGear Neo Air. PSU is BX1 550 from Thermaltake. Not really getting high temps, that seems to be under control. K&M already upgraded to Corsair K68 and a Logi G502 Hero

Can't seem to find items from the QVL list within my budget... how much faster would make a different? was thinking around 3200 maybe? Best i can find is CL16, good? Does memory manufacturer matter?
