  1. Beauty! Thanks for the info buds!
  2. Ahhhhhhh ok! New to this site! Thank you for the suggestion. I was looking at the EVGA PSUs on that Evgabstock site. Would those be worth it?
  3. What would your suggestion be on a new PSU? Now mind you, I don't have a ton of money to spend on these things (father of a family of 4).
  4. Hey y'all! Kinda new to the whole PC master race/building experience......but here's my deal....... I've put a system together with a P8H61-M LX PLUS R2.0 mobo, E3 1245 V2 CPU, 8 gigs of Patriot Viper III Ram, and a newly (used) acquired MSI 970 OC GPU and Rocketfish 700 watt PSU. Now, before I changed out the GPU and PSU I was running a GTX 750 ti and a standard power supply, and everything worked fine. After changing both GPU and PSU I've had nothing but problems....... The comp loads, and runs simple programs (YouTube and such), but when trying to run any game or anything graphically demanding the computer reboots.......and displays the message about Asus detected a surge coming from the power supply and shut down. My question is.......is it the PSU? Because I've reinstalled my 750 ti and the problem never happened (big difference in wattage and such between GPUs), or is this 970 buggered (even tho it plays videos and such in 1440p)? Any help would be awesome!
