  1. Thank you both for suggestions, but I would prefer to stick with Ryzen 5 3600, change in price (locally) vs change in performance does not make Ryzen 5 3600 a bad option, especially for longevity of the build. lilotus.FRM thanks for suggestion on RAM, that might be something I would not be afraid to order from Amazon actually. How about that PSU tho, is it worth to spend extra 30 EUR for Corsair PSU if BQ PSU seems to be good enough? GPU, CPU, MB stays, but thanks for suggestions on cases. :)
  2. Hey everyone! Decided to make my first build as gift for myself in Christmas although I've been LTT enthusiast for couple years now. This post is for sanity check, avoiding stupid mistakes with your help hopefully and, for some, maybe showcase some market issues in my country. 1. Budget & Location Location - Latvia (Baltics) budget without monitor around 1k EUR or 1105,50$ US. Please be aware that very often prices in e.g. newegg differs heavily for many components (from the scale and comparison stand point). 2. Aim 65% gaming and 35% browsing. I play what I can, but i'd like to continue play WOT, Skylines, ANNO, CSGO, Total war series, start some PUBG, RDR2 maybe, waiting for Bannerlord 2, you got the vibe. 3. Monitors Ultimately one 27" 1440 ~120 Hz. 4. Peripherals I'll need monitor above, but because of budget, probably won't rush it and won't discuss it here now. I have some options in my mind. 5. Why are you upgrading? I have dying laptop i5-4200H, 950m... Wanted to have nice PC for a while now. Have XBOX one as well, that will work as second option for many games on same monitor or my TV. So, as I am from LV I have limited options in terms of parts availability for reasonable prices, so LIST is something I have decided to according to that, but I have few questions regarding PSU, MB, overall compatibility (just to avoid extreme rookie mistakes). I'll try to provide any insight to prices as far as possible. LIST (mATX build): CPU Ryzen 5 3600 - 207 EUR (3600x costs 246 EUR) GPU Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT Gaming OC 8GB GDDR6 - 455.25 EUR RAM G.SKILL RipjawsV rev.2 16GB 3200MHz CL16 DDR4 - 74.27 EUR MB (mATX) MSI B450M MORTAR MAX - 99 EUR CASE iBOX Passion V4 OPV4 - 45 EUR PSU Corsair TXM Series 550W (74 EUR) OR Be Quiet! System Power 9 600W (63 EUR) OR Corsair ATX 2.4 CX650M 650W (89 EUR) Total: 943,27 - 969,27 EUR (depending on PSU). I already have up to 4-5 total SSD/HHD's and would love to ultimately add NVMe. I'd appreciate any help with PSUs, because I understand the efficiency curve and have skimmed through several PSU calculators and many forum threads about PSU, but still not sure, about my choices. Is BQ System Power 9 600W good enough and would be reliable options, or should I go for more expensive Corsair? If Corsair, which one? Would even Corsair ATX 2.4 CX650m even fit the mATX case? Thanks in advance everyone! Most of the best prices are in same homepage, so I can share that link and you can skim through what is available if that helps, but I don't expect for you to build me PC.
