  1. The 2060 build is a banging deal, but it looks really scuffed i'd ask the dude to boot it up before u buy that thing, the picture just looks 3rd worldly
  2. Razer is attractive to 12-14 year olds, they think its the best gaming brand of all time. idk
  3. I Would definitely get the rx 580 and your 550 watt should handle it just fine.
  4. That PC is Definitlely better, i know xbox one x's have the equivalent of a 1060, but your cpu is better. I'd go for the pc, even if the gpu is slightly worse PC's have so much customization available. And so much money to be saved, think about it, you have to pay a monthly fee for online gaming and $60 usd for a game, when on pc games are usually much cheaper. plus u dont have to buy a new system to upgrade!
  5. Hello people of linus forums. So, i dont know if this is normal or not, and if theres a way to change it. First of all my specs: AMD FX-8350 1060 3GB 16GB DDR3 1333mhz GIGABYTE 990FXA-UD3 Now, i overclocked my cpu up to 4.6 ghz without any crashes or BSOD's and the temps are at 40c under full load. but, under full load my cores go up to 4.6 ghz but whenever im gaming and my cpu is at like 80-90% my cores sit at 4.1 ghz, i dont know why and am wondering if i can change this some how, thanks.
  6. console has good fps and is customizable LMAO
  7. i've had the same problem with a laptop i had a few years ago where it would just freeze and it was because of cpu temps so that might be the issue, and if so theres not much u can do about it with a laptop, so i would definitely contact asus or whatever seller you bought it from
  8. Okay that is a really low wattage power supply for those parts, i assume the manufacturer has underclocked/undervolted those parts to work, but if possible could u install core temp or msi afterburner and see the temps that your parts get to when under heavy load because if your cpu gets too hot it will shutdown
  9. what are your components? cuz i dont know much about laptops but 150 watt is really really low wattage
  10. Try hooking the monitor up to an xbox or another pc etc. could be the monitor, if that doesnt work, try hooking the "dead" monitor to your motherboard display port and see if you get anything there, and if the monitor works through all that then your gpu is probably dead
  11. Thought i'd show off my amazing cable managed rig, with a lot of thought put through "Will this AIO fit in the case?" But other than that, i dont have rgb headers in my mobo, i didnt think at all if this would fit in my case, and im obviously a god at cable management so i think linus would love this build. If you were wondering the temps im getting im running a fx 8350 and sitting at 35-40 c under full load for like 10 mins or so.
  12. Also my new cooler was a 3 pin fan, but my mobo cpu_fan has a 4 pin connection, will an adapter fix this?
  13. Just tried putting the old cooler on And the pc works fine, well rip spend $160 on a cooler I can’t even use
  14. I’ve also tried swapping the cmos battery with another older pc still nothing.
