  1. maybe a smaller-form-factor keyboard? I bought a gigantic huntsman about 1 year ago and have switched to a TKL form-factor keyboard and it saves so much space and is way more comfortable for daily use, unless you specifically need a numbpad of course. Also you can find a much cheaper TKL keyboard which could be better.
  2. Hello, I made a post on here about a week ago regarding the best M-ATX cases for travelling. With advice from many people I have started to reconsider and have thought of two possible solutions. Ideally I would like the case to be able to: Be able to fit it in a bag/duffle bag that I can bring on the flight and have between my legs so that it does not break. cost around a maximum of 200 dollars be able to fit a ATX size PSU and a graphics card with these measurements: L=286 W=114 H=50 mm Be able to have good Wi-fi My two alternatives that I have thought up of up until now are: Buy A new ITX Motherboard (Gigabyte B450 I AORUS PRO WIFI Mini ITX AM4 Motherboard) which has wifi and an M.2 slot which I would like to have and this case (Fractal Design Node 304) because it is the only mini ITX case that fits a triple fan GPU and a full sized GPU OR I could buy a (Fractal Design Node 804) and a netgear nighthawk AC1900 wifi adapter because my current motherboard does not have wifi. Finally the most expensive option would be to get a SFX PSU and the motherboard which would give me leeway to decide what case I want but would take me longer to buy and would be an inconvenience because it would cost me an extra 100$ or so when I have a fully-functional non-modular ATX PSU. ( my trip once a year is in June and I would like to have my parts by then) Although these are the most realistic options I see now I am open to any suggestions about a solution and any queries below, Thanks!
  3. Thanks, I dont really have the funds to get a new mobo psu and a case rn so I think the fractal design might be the best choice, would you think it could fit inside a large carry-on duffle bag as I don't want to risk it being in the luggage.
  4. are you saying an M-ATX case would be hard getting through security? why would that be?
  5. ye probably but do u think the large glass panel and the build quality overall is ok to take on a 12 hour flight?
  6. Hello, I build my pc almost a year ago now using a M-ATX mobo and a full sized case. I have now decided I want to switch to a M-ATX case because of my travelling. For one month a year I take a flight and live in my home country, so far I have just used a laptop in my home country but now I have decided to keep a monitor and a mousepad there for when I arrive. To get to the point I would like to know the most compact M-ATX case which can fit in a duffle bag that I will bring as carry-on luggage using a 3x 2070 super with these measurements L=286.5 W=114.5 H=50.2 mm, Also if it matters I have a wraith prism. I know this might be a lot to ask for but if there are any suggestions or if you need to know anything else about my pc feel free to ask, Thanks
  7. Hello I am building my first pc right now and was watching a video on where I could not have my rgb cable and the usb cable in at the same time for some reason. I would like to know if this is true and if so why. Any replies appreciated, thanks!
  8. Hi, I am going to be building my pc in a few days and I was wondering about the Windows installation. I looked up the official prices and they were pretty expensive. I was wondering where everybody gets their activation key, because I have looked on ebay and it is about 3-5 euros but I've heard they do not give legit keys or something. So where would you guys advise to get activation keys? Thanks in advance for any advice or replies!
  9. I thought I might not have to set a custom one due to the three fans but can I just change the fan speed or would it be better to use a custom fan curve? By the way thanks for all of the help!
  10. Oh ok thanks so you think I should go with the 5700 XT, also is it easy to record gameplay with it? As for the 5700 XT I am going for I have researched a little bit and found that the gigabyte one is pretty solid so if I get a 5700 XT I am pretty sure that is the one I am going for
  11. Yes I know it is a bit overkill but I forgot to mention I will also be playing rust and I am going to try to get 240 fps on all the games except for rust. I recall that I heard that the 5700XT has some driver issues or is that fixed? Also I might play rust on 1440p 144hz,
  12. Hello, I live in Thailand and I am buiding my first pc at the end of the month, here is my build. Please do not judge my parts too much the shipping price to here is awful and they put extra costs on the orders all the time. anyways onto the question, I am contemplating which graphics card to buy. It is between the 5700 XT, the 2060 super or the 2070 super. I will mostly be playing games and the games I will be playing are Rainbow, CSGO, Overwatch and fortnite (typical 13 year old games) at 1080p mostly competetive settings. I asked the most well known pc part store here and they said something along the lines of that because of the 5700 XT's high temperatures and the fact that I live in Thailand, the 5700 XT will have even higher temperatures and the drivers are harder to use than nvidia's. I am very new to pc building and I am not that good with driver stuff but I know that the 5700 XT is more bang for the buck. Oh and one more important factor is that I will probably have something recording my gameplay most of the time and might occasionally stream. So to conclude which graphics card would you recommend and I would love to know why. If you have read this far thank you for reading the whole thing and any answers are really appreciated since I don't really want to make to many mistakes that I will regret later on. 13. @GDRRiley thanks, so you dont think it is worth it? I am going there in 2 hours and if it might be worth it I may as well change it right?
  14. Hello, I have a 2700x which I will be using in my first build at the end of the month. I went to my pc part store here in Thailand and I asked which RAM brand was the best and they said HyperX. So I decided to buy a 2x8gb 3200mhz cl16 kit. I was wondering whether to return it today because I am going back to the shopping mall and the exact same kit from g.skill trident z ram is the same price. I am going there in a few hours so any advice appreciated! Thanks
  15. @Dalynx thanks! also completely unrelated question but is hyperx a good brand for ram? or should i get corsair or g.skill
