  1. Just built a new pc but my room just so tiny that I just don't have another room for another monitor, so I just thinking if I could using the thunderbolt 3 ports with some adapters to be as a display input. I'm using the xps 9300.
  2. Budget (including currency): USD: $2000~2200 Country: US Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: sound design such as Reaper, Cubase, Video Editor Premier Pro, Game Engines for Unity and UE4, for personal gaming would be like cyberpunk 2077, r6 siege, does VR Chat count as well? Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I might get it next year given the new zen 3 platforms and the upcoming RX 6000 series. I'm still swing for the gpu and cpu and the motherboard, so the spec sheet to me is just really temporary. I didn't have a pc desktop before so everything I've done was on dell xps 13 9300 with an razer core x attached with 2060. The monitor I do need to be at 1440 since 4k is kind of overkill to me. For the refresh rate I still a new comer, but I guess it does blow you brain away from the previous Linus's videos show. 3. So I'm planning to get a new monito as my laptop display monitor as well as for the new consoles (ps5, series x), is there any good monitors that can fit both my console gaming experiences and also as my work place? I'm primary using the 2020 xps 13 9300 model for most of my task and a egpu at home, so I don't expect myself to really build a new pc in any future time. I can also wait for little bit longer if there are any good budget monitors going to come out in the later of 2020. Personally I'm more toward the ips, since it just feels more optimize for both working and gaming, but I'll take any suggestion. I don't want to go rock high like 4k. Most of my work just some simple task, I have a wacom drawing pad as well just for occasional drawing but that's not really my profession just an interest.
  4. Alright thanks man I would just go for 1440, the budget will be still round $800 after everything sums up(include the pad and the software), so it’s still not too bad, it just the monitor consumes the big part of it
  5. So would you suggest ~24’’ 1080 or just aim for 1440 resolution?
  6. Sure, yeah I was kind of asking people to help me create a chart for me, for the drawing pad I aimed down XP-PEN Deco 01 and gonna using the clip studio paint as a software. For the monitor I am still questioning about it, I would say 24-27'' with 1080 resolution is my basic.
  7. Generally for content creating such as drawing, also web browsing and streaming, just some minor gaming like Undertale stuff like that.
