1) i have the corsiar graphite EAXT case so anything will fit, i'm going to go with a noctua or corsair h100i V2 dependign on which one i find at a better price. no color preferece. and i don't think i'll grab a used chip later. 2) I asked due to linus video on how ram speed affected performance with amd cpu's, just wana stay informed. 3) thnx, thats more than enough to help fund the upgrades.

1) I'm looking to upgrade to the Ryzen 5 3600 which involves changing MOBO as well, so which is is the best mid range from all the boards out there? I really only game and do some light video editing so i don't think i need one with pcie gen 4 or other fancy whistles but I also want to buy a decent one so that i'm not stuck missing out on something that's quickly becoming more common like m.2 storage and the like. 2) How important is it to buy a new RAM kit that runs at the same speed as my new cpu? and 2) How much could i realistically get for my Used i7 Extreme 980X and DX58SO2 MOBO, never overclocked, still with stock cooler, original box and all. I looked at ebay and saw that they were going as low as 100$ US.
