Here's another mod I worked on a while ago..
Wanted to make a generic laptop case (from a German manufacturer called Nexoc) a little more interesting with CS:GO's notorious Asiimov weapon skin.

According to the pictures I found on google images, there seem to be ventilation holes on the side panel, above the CPU cooler. You could add (zip tie or similar, just be creative. :D) a good intake fan there to help fresh air enter. Adding a fan to the front doesn't seem to be able to do much, as the front side appears to be completely solid. If you don't care about the looks (and a slight increase in noie), you could take out the 5.75" covers and pop a fan there.

Noctua has some, even a black one, so if you don't mind spending a bit more you could look into that.

Normally I'm all about that premium fan hype, I like my Corsair ML's and my Noctua NF's, but honestly for 80mm fans the Arctic F8 PWM's I have owned are perfect, they are super quiet and work great.

-+if you apply too much paste and it gest on the sides of the chip it may sometimes affect the gpu from workinmg properly since you clean it and reapplied nad its ok then most chances are that this was the case remeber you need to have in a size of a small pea in the center of the chip

when i took apart my Gigabyte GTX1060 a few months ago to change the paste i had the same issue, turns out my card wasn't properly installed. The clip on the PCI-e slot had an issue so it blocked my card from being fully seated inside the slot and i just removed the clip and it all worked again

or you could wait till we have more intel on the intel GPUs? eh?
