Yeah, I get that. But the line above was used by another user (not naming them) in an older thread because he said "Don't talk to me like a child" or something like that and threw the BSD developer line after it. Ralf was just quoting the line, using it to be funny obviously. Got a small chuckle out of me.

    Anyway, back on topic.
Glad you are returning the other PSU. Hope you enjoy your build...unless something else goes wrong.

The answers here are very odd and very wrong. DDU is mandatory when changing the card else you are extremely likely to experience a varying degree of issues with performance, stability and even image quality/colors

Normlly not needed, you can just try it, bu DDU cn make it so weird issues are much less likely.

Hm interesting, it'll probably be worth the wait even for the second hand market to be flooded with used cards from people upgrading

Well the 1060 mini has less power phases so you won't be able to oc alot but basically try doing a bit of ocing on the bios clock so like a 100mhz off boost
And like 500mhz for memory and see if that stable and then go off from that increasing the voltage onlt if need (if the card support upping the voltage )
This is very simple but hopefully it'll help

    Edit:
After doing a bit more research, I've found what appears to be a support bracket in 2 marketing images. Not many images of the R11 exist as it's a newer product, but it does look this is a design feature brought forward from the R10, My original thoughts are incorrect in the case of Alienware specifically but any OEMs implementing this should reinforcement similar to this.

    Summary:
Asetek, an OEM used by Alienware, has announced their PCIe based 2080Super Radiator, available to OEM partners.

    My thoughts:
Having issues finding news about this that isn't just ripped straight out of the marketing PDF they provided to news outlets. It's a novel idea but my god, is going to require some heavy reinforcement. GPU sag is already a major issues and GPUs are probably half the weight of an AIO (this is probably about a 240mm rad). The sag is going to be REAL with this radiator and I hope it doesn't ruin an absolute ton of prebuilts in shipping as it wobbles around in the PC case. Rev up those reinforced PCIe slots as they're going to pound town with this behemoth attached. God speed.

The 2 top dust filters seem to use screws that will work. So I guess if I dont buy more fans I just have to deal with a missing dust filter. At least it wont be a populated fan spot but still. Seems like not very much though went into that

Usually from 2 fans (1 intake, 1 exhaust) onward, everything is just a game of diminishing returns in terms of temperatures.
The advantage is mainly in having less sound  for the same amount of air moved.

I would say personally a Samsung 970 nvme ssd  a bit pricey if you want it but pretty good performance or you could get a western digital nvme ssd which is an m.2 nvme ssd (b+m) which is like £40 cheaper or a Samsung 860 evo which is SATA which would cheaper than the Samsung 970 nvme ssd but still more expensive and most likely faster than the western digital nvme ssd so there’s a few choices there that you might like

Display tech, huh?  There are some LTT videos on the different kinds of displays and what they do that might bear watching.  There are also videos on the capabilities and issues with the various port types.  They don’t all do the same things.

HVAC, imo, is essential to supporting life. My dad works in a nursing home and there are very strict federal guidelines on how hot and cold a resident's room can get. Any thing below or above a certain threshold (don't remember it and too lazy to google it) requires the evacuation of said residents.

It looks like the manufacture and sale of HVAC equipment is still allowed, so you guys might be okay.

Nope, all exhaust fans would help draw in fresh air for the graphics card from the planned slot and rear pci slots.

Is the system sitting on carpet? There might not be much ventilation without lifting the case further off the surface it's sitting on.
As for a side panel mounted fan, I'd recommend trying both intake and exhaust to see which performs better.

I cant answer everything for you but I'll help as much as I can. Your RAM amount and speed are perfectly fine for Ryzen. As for your SSD, did you look at the 860 evo? Nearly the same speeds for loading games and you may be able to get it for slightly cheaper. Make sure it has the right connections though. You dont want to get a SATA when you need M.2. Hope this helps!
