Just tried it, did not post but showed rgb on the ram sticks again. I’m starting to think it could be a problem with the power button itself.

How do i clear the cmos? I’m on a b450 Aorus pro wifi if that helps.

Hello to anyone that would like to help. I just installed a ryzen 2700x in place of a 2600 and now the rgb on my ram lights up when the power supply is on but the power button doesn’t turn on the system. I removed the cooler and cpu and cleaned the thermal paste off but noticed the thermal past touching two of the connectors on the bottom as shown in the picture. Could this be what is causing the problem?

Hello to anyone that would like to help, my recently built (august) computer has been having stuttering problems in games so i went to turn on xmp in the bios (i’m not really too sure what it does but i think it increases the speed of the memory) and the processor jumped to 94 C and stayed exactly at that (fans were also full speed). is there anything i can do? i can provide a full list of all the components if that would help.
