  1. Yes, my MOBO is running the aforementioned update that addresses this issue.
  2. Did not work. Still persists.
  3. Ryzen 3700x EVGA 3080 32gb Corsair Vengeance RAM Corsair MP600 2TB M.2 850w gold PSU My computer is stuttering intermittently and I have no idea how to fix it. I've gone to my wits end trying to figure it out. It happens in games or just browsing the desk top, the mouse will just skip across the screen every 5 seconds or so. I've tried a different mother board, different CPU (switched back to 3700x from 5900x), ran a RAM diagnostic, switched drives, switched BIOS, switch power supply, switched graphics card, all to no avail. CPU and GPU temps are normal and I don't see anything alarming in task manager. It happens on both monitors (one's a 1440 165hz and one's a 1080p 240hz). I have no idea what is going on. I know that AMD released a statement about a TPM bug so I switched to an older BIOS where it was unavailable. I also ran an Offline Defender Scan. No idea. Any insights are appreciated.
  4. That could potentially be the problem, I noticed that it mentioned that it was occurring on both Windows 10 and 11. Unfortunately they don't provide a very good description of the problem stating "AMD has determined that select AMD Ryzen™ system configurations may intermittently perform extended fTPM-related memory transactions in SPI flash memory (“SPIROM”) located on the motherboard, which can lead to temporary pauses in system interactivity or responsiveness until the transaction is concluded." As well, it seems odd that this issue would only just start occurring while I've had this same CPU in the system for almost a year now. We'll sit at a strong "maybe" on your solution.
  5. Recently my computer acquired a new skill wherein it will stutter/skip frames. It doesn't matter if I'm gaming or just browsing on the desktop, you can move the mouse across the screen and watch it skip along. For context, it only started happening in the past 2 or 3 weeks with me just dealing with it and only just now becoming unbearable. Just to list off what I'm working with here, I have a 240hz and a 165hz display so bad refresh rate can't be the issue, it also happens on both monitors. I installed a 3080 recently but I just switched back to my 2080 Super and the issue still persists. I tried rolling back to the previous Nvidia driver to no avail. I also got fed up with it enough to wipe my hard drives clean and reinstall Windows with no change. I ran the RAM diagnostic tool and found that to not be the issue. The computer doesn't crash any games or blue screen and CPU temps are in the mid 50's (5900x). Does an issue like this sound familiar to anyone? It's driving me crazy and I'm thinking that getting either a new power supply or motherboard might have to be the fix. Only thing I haven't done yet is switch back to the old CPU to see if that could be the problem, but I don't have any thermal paste lying around. Either way, if you have any wisdom that you think might help be sure to reach out.
  6. So I've got some more information for you. My internet speed is between 11Mbps and 31Mbps when using the speed test that pops up in the google search, but 125Mbps when I use the one by Ookla. Same story when using my phone, except it runs 120Mbps on the google search version, and about 410Mbps on the Ookla version. The speed is obviously there...should I go the route of doing a fresh windows install? Format the drive and just move on? Would that even fix it? This computer has previously run at 480Mbps over the same connection.
  7. Just the PC and it's over ethernet.
  8. Ethernet, I don;t know how to trace the issue, actually currently removing the WLAN card.
  9. Problem is exactly what it sounds like, my computer internet speed over ethernet used to be 480Mbps and now it's dropped down to 30Mbps. Things I've done since this change....installed a PCIe wifi adapter and installed a VPN, immediately uninstalled VPN and no change. Help if you're a wizard.
  10. Let me start this off with what led up to this issue: I wanted to overclock my CPU but know nothing about overclocking, so I used the Ryzen Master software to do it and while I was I noticed my memory clock was set to 1067 and the Fabric clock was set at 1200, so naturally I changed that to 1600 and 1600. Computer has to restart to apply the settings...black screen. So I turn off the computer and turn it back on, the system cycles a few times before I get a post and then it goes into the OS. I open up task manager to check my RAM frequency since I had a hunch my BIOS had been reset, and it was down at 2133mhz. :/ So I restart the computer and get into the BIOS and enable XMP as I have before and goes to save and exit, when I do so the system cycles again and posts again (BIOS reset again as well)...sure enough, get into the OS and my RAM is at 2133Mhz. :/ Frustrated now, I uninstall Ryzen Master and do the process again...same problem. Help me.
