So basically my new system has been running for a couple of days. Yesterday before bed I put a game to download during the night so I just turned off the screen and let the computer run during the night. Next morning, no post. I tried all the steps from the pinned post but nothing of this works. My computer specs are: Amd ryzen 5 3600 asrock b450 steel legend corsair vengence 2x8 gb ddr4 asus 1060 dual 6gb (not new, from my old system) ROG AIO LC 240mm white be queit! 600w psu the moniter is an acer kg271a What I also tried was plugging in a secound monitor to the motherboard, no post. Any help is appriciated and happy 2021!

Okey so i just out of frustation tried plugging it all in again and it magically started working.

So yesterday I installed ROG LC 240 AIO with two argb fans and then a phantecs argb led strip. With the AIO an argb splitter was included. I connected all three argb cabels to the splitter and plugged the other end into the only argb header on my motherboard. Starts computer and nothing works. Today I opened the PC and saw that the motherboard header takes a mximum of 5V. The fans I cant find out how much they need but the led strip is 5V exactly so I disconnected everything and tried only with one fan, not working, the other fan, not working and at last the argb led strip, not working as well. I’m not aure if I’ve done something wrong? I mean its not like I plugged anything in the wrong way. Any suggestions?

Well possibly, I just found this on Cooler Master website. Not sure what it means but seams like the product is only for mobos with argb connectors -

+The right one I understand is for mobo it is the other one I wonder about. -
Hello dear forum! I’m currently at my fourth PC build and this is the first time I’ve thought of the looks. So basically I bought one argb led strip and an AIO with two argb fans. My mobo only has output for one of these so I bought a splitter. Funny thing is I bought it for rgb and not argb. Now my question is (it might be a newbie question so sorry) when I look at the end you plug in (see picture) to the mobo it has two types of connectors. Why is this and should I buy one of these or look at another? Thanks and sorry for eventually broken english, and this was all from my phone since my computer is in pieces.

What is the solution to having to many fans?
JohnnyCash replied to JohnnyCash's topic in New Builds and Planning
I never even knew such a thing existed, thanks that seems to be a good solution! -
So here is the deal. I have two Corsair ML120 case fans and two NZXT fans that were included with my case (NZXT H510). I´m going to buy a 240mm AIO and therefor I will have 6 in total fans all runing 3 or 4 pin connectors. Now my problem is that my motherboard (the Asrock B450 Steel Legend) only has 3 separate 4 pin connectors. So I have 6 fans and only 3 connectors. Is there any good solution? Do I need molex fans or do I need to buy a fan controller? In that case which one is the best bang for the buck? Thanks in advance!

Thank you very much, I am not concerd about the cooling (although I might overclock in the near future) but it is mainly the aesthetics and most importantly the noise. The stock cooler is pretty much the only "source of sound" from my computer and I can hear it with headphones on. EDIT: So I looked at them all and the ROG is a bit to expensive. I really like the other two as well but I´m not sure which one to go with, I don´t want the case to look too busy if you understand what I mean. The vertical GPU mount is lovely and it kinda looks good with the stock cooler but I´m not sure if a big bulky air cooler is going to look good. I might just settle for the corsair AIO.
