  1. So apparently everything over 3200mhz is an overclock on this board. But I'm not losing out on too much so I'm alright with 3200 without an overclock. Thank you again for all of your help. Just talking to someone helps more than anything sometimes lol.
  2. would that really be an overclock if that is the speeds they are supposed to be running? The board is rated for that speed with 4 sticks.
  3. I finally got it to work! All I had to do was completely rebuild the darn thing in front of somebody and it booted!!! but only with the stock cooler. My next problem was getting my aio to work. The problem was that my pump is sata powered and I was using sata cables from my old power supply. After looking at the cables the empty pin was in a different spot. Switching them has allowed me to post this from my pc again!!! I do have one other question. My ram is ddr4-3600 but I cant post with it any higher than 3000mhz. I have the voltage set to auto but I think it's just the fact that I have 4 sticks for 64gb total. Is there anything I can do besides cranking the voltage manually. Auto put them both at about 1.41v when I had them at 3600 but they are still at 1.2v when on 3000mhz.
  4. So I have now tried every ram configuation, with 2 different types of ram. I have tried different psu. I have tried the stock cooler and my aio plugged in in different configurations. I have tried with and without the graphics card. Nothing happens without the graphics card. I've tried booting with a iso of windows plugged in. Ive tried using my friends 3800x. I've tried with just the 8pin for the cpu plugged in and with the extra 4pin plugged in. The motherboard is getting power and the aio pump wants to turn on but it only blips before doing nothing again. I'm at wits end except for going to a shop and having them trouble shoot it for me.
  5. Even the gpu? Currently trying 1 stick of ram. I'm going to try the stock cooler next
  6. So I recently decided to upgrade my computer because I was struggling to stream them while playing and I cant get my new system to boot. Parts: Asus prime x570-pro Ryzen 7 3800x Corsair h150i pro Thermaltake dps 750 gold+ Evga 2070 super G.skillz trident neo 16Gb (x4) ddr4-3600 I stole the storage out of my old system. Samsung 970 evo 1tb Seagate 2tb sshd I have everything plugged in, including the extra 4 pin connector for the cpu. The motherboard gets power but when I hit the power button on the case or on the motherboard nothing happens except that the cpu cooler lights up for half a second then nothing. I reseated the ram and gpu. I've tried 1 stick of ram. The only thing I havent tried that I can think of is plugging the aio pump into the cpu fan header instead of the aio header. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  7. I'm making sure that my BIOS are updated right now. I have tried setting to PCIE only and that makes my ssd disappear completely from bios. I will update after reading through the bios portion of the manual and updating bios if needed. Thank you for the quick reply! So, BIOS did need an update and im still reading through the manual for all the BIOS settings. Setting to PCIE didnt do anything but it was worth a shot. I have made sure that it is in GPT form so it will work with windows. I then checked the ssd with command prompt it still says theres nothing written to the ssd.

  9. So I bought a Samsung 970 EVO on cyber Monday for a good deal. I wanted to get an m.2 ssd so that my computer boots up faster and my game loading times are quicker. The problem is simply that Windows will not install onto it whatsoever. I have a usb with windows on it. I can go through the entire process of installation and it even says through the windows installer that Windows is installing onto the ssd but when I boot back into bios and try to boot the ssd, it just boots right back to the bios. I have tried both m.2 slots on my mobo. I have messed with nearly every bios setting. I have tried installing windows from a friends PC. I have recreated my media installation usb. I have deleted all partitions when selecting where to install. I have created new partitions. I have just hit next in the installer without creating the partitions. None of this has yielded me any luck whatsoever. I have tried all of these things with my hard drive plugged in and unplugged. The other weird part is that windows has 0 troubles installing onto my hard drive at all. I have scoured the internet but I haven't been able to find a solution. If anybody know how to help I would appreciate it greatly. Even though I have dug through the bios I could have missed something or had the wrong set of setting combined.
