was looking at a capture card like in the link below for a friend who plays on console at his mom's house and was wondering if he could directly record to USB even if it had to encode on his computer at his dad's. I need to be able to do this without being connected to a computer. I am sure it does not require extra power and also it had a quadro fx 580 in there before and it worked, I also tried it in my system that has a confirmed good pcie slot

I have a 750 ti I am putting in a friend's PC, it posts but no boot, it is a msi 750ti if that helps and I tried both vbios on the selector, it beeps every ~30 seconds. The PC is a stock Lenovo k410

you can get a 3070 for 540 and the build for my friend had a Ryzen 5 3600 in it and also you can get windows 10 on kinguin for $30 as they buy extra oem keys. also if he needs more storage you will spend about $200 less for a terabyte of ssd storage

and pc's have higher resale value

also most games cost more and also you can do more than game on a pc. and don't tell me you can do most things on a console using the web as that is so painfully slow

the only thing i will say is you will pay about $420 in xbox live over this gen so i think the 3070 system like the one i parted out for my friend if you have the money now that with the cost of xbox live would be about the same price

i am moving from a oneplus 5 and am replacing it because it is begining to break. aka the internal connecter for the usb port on the board is partally bad and the power button will fall out without a case. i want better camera and display while having it be durable enough to stand drops with a decent case or cheap enough so i don't care if it breaks. i guess the main things i want though is a reasonable prosser, the main reason i don't think that i will like the lg and software as the lg runs android 8.1.

i am thinking about getting the oneplus 7 pro but my friend says i am overspending on a phone and should buy the $30 lg rebel 4 because anything over $50 is a waste of money and that mid range phones are terrible value

as long as you have your system is as stable as possible it isn't a problem. by as stable as possible i mean no overclocking of any kind and if you are using a stock heatsink let the heatsink cool down by turning off the computer until the heatsink is warm but not hot. also some cards have dual Vbios and so if your system manages to crash you have a backup and you can try again on the failed one while still having a backup.

the thing is that getting lower ram speed dosn't affect proformance on intel close to amd and also i belive that now you cant go past 2666 speed ram on a i3 anymore anyways
