  1. Well i guess its the last time i go without a warranty then. As usual, this forum is a disappointing mix of self important ponces and trolls. Thanks for nothing.
  2. about 150 bucks cheaper. And in that situation, you know full well youre gambling without a warranty. I was hoping to get an estimate or a standard service charge for less than that, but its as if they dont want my money.
  3. He is making a joke that the shorthand for OnePlus and Original Poster (me) are the same
  4. Lets be clear, I am not asking for a FREE fix. I am asking for a fix OF ANY KIND.
  5. Beeecause the seller didnt put the phone together themselves with string and gum? Because even without a warranty there should be a way to service a unit? because at best the phone itself is 8 months old, and becoming a brick at that age is pretty frustrating?
  6. How hard is it to stand behind your product though? I dont even want the warranty, I just want a fixed friggin phone. I think a service charge is a reasonable avenue, but they werent having it.
  7. Bought a OnePlus 2 through a seller on ebay. Two months later, yesterday morning, the phone is unresponsive. Doesnt power on, doesnt soft or hard reset, doesnt boot into safe mode, doesnt charge. OP tech support wont give me the time of day without my "order number" which i assume you get buying direct from them. They tell me I have to contact eBay, but because the purchase is 2 months old, I have no recourse through ebay either. Any advice? Does someone pay decent money to mulch old phones? Gonna be needing a new one pretty much ASAP. and no, it will never be a OnePlus product again.
  8. Money makes the world go round mate, if i can pay for the hardware and my rent with a bitcoin rig, then any expansion after that can be a snowball effect into one of the best folding rigs in the world. But it has to pay for itself. Ive got a gaming rig Ill set up in the meantime to fold, but having fixed overhead can make for great profitability and expansion.
  9. I read the whole lease when I signed it, I don't recall something like that, but it would be good to check, especially since I just installed a window AC unit for the summer. For you more experienced joes, what would you buy if your electricity was essentially free? ASIC? Radeon cards? Fast cpu? Value cpu? Which currency would you mine too?
  10. My electric bill is actually included in my rent, it never varies, and Im paying for it anyway. Does this make bitcoin/litecoin mining more profitable? if so, where should I start? I have a few older PCs, enough income to get a couple of GPUs or ASIC cards?
  11. Id like 5.1 speakers but Im the only one thats going to be listening to them. I dont need to pay the premium for the Klipsch name or some german engineered brand ive never heard of, i just want a set of speakers that give me good value at a premium listening experience. For arguments sake, lets say under $500, but I could go higher. I realistically do not know.
  12. So my folks got me an AV reciever for my birthday because they know I like to use multiple input devices for the same display at my battlestation, but they didnt happen to include a set of surround speakers. Ive been running it nearly a year now with two 10 year old stereo speakers, and ive decided to stop being such a peasant and get a set of speakers. Heres the problem. I know literally nothing about speakers. I do know when they sound bad, when the bass is boosted too gorram much (beats audio in my phone? wow. such gangster. many street). So. Point me in the right direction? my budget is variable, but I like good value for my dollar obviously. The reciever is an Onkyo Tx-Sr313. Amazon lists the output wattage at 65 watts. Its a 5.1 system. ... I dont know what else to post. Thanks!
  13. Completely separate issue, but I way underestimated the heat load when I got the cooler for that monster amd cpu, so long story short, no overclock whatsoever...
  14. Ive got 16gb ddr3 1866, i doubt that two chrome windows will max that out.
  15. The link indicates that im using HTML5 when possible. I bought it on xbox when it came out, im not paying for that broken game twice.
