  1. Yeah, most people don't notice there is Motion Blur in BG3, and there's no option to disable it from what I remember
  2. Actually, GAMES DO KNOW THE FRAME TIMES. Although, It's mainly 1 frame delay, because It need to complete a frame to know how long it took between the next frame and the previous frame. It's delta time calculation.
  3. This also applies to terrible TAA implamentation, Idk why Digital Founderies or even Linus didn't talk about this, but dear god, The computer monitors in Cyberpunk is terrible to use if you have TAA turned on, because the cursor turn into a blur like you're using a TA panel.
  4. I like to make a point! It's probably a luke warm take, but hey! I just wanna say it Motion Blur, Bloom, HDR and such used to crank to 11, particularly back in like pre 2010s and mid 2010s. However, since then, devs have crank down those effects to a more acceptable level, especially motion blur, with the advent of Object Motion Blur, It makes games feel that bit more immersive, as fast object looks realistically fast. It's not as awful as before, as any new graphics effects. This is just something I like to get out.
  5. So awhile back, I purchased a Seagate 2Tb hard drive, which I tend to delete and add alot of files on. I realized It get a bit slow and want to optimize it... I couldn't because of ExFAT file system. I couldn't even make a partition too. Does anybody have a solution for this problem? (Edit, one oddity I found, is that Windows think my Hard Disk Drive (It says on the box) is an SSD
  6. Ookay, so after investigating for awhile (Being on this forum was my last solution) Appearently, Lenovo Vintage has something called Network Optimize mode Where it will throttle your connection to anything else except for your games. I turned that off and Everything is normal again.
  7. As the title says. Some games like Left 4 dead 2 and Minecraft, for some reason, throttling my internet. I know this because I have a 100MB/s second internet that just throttle to 1% of that. Does anybody know what's going on?
  8. If the title doesn't make it clear, basically. I was wondering, Is it possible for one on Linux to create a VM that uses your windows partition.
  9. No, GPU Z is very acurate on this end. I can tell because RPCS3 doesn't even allow me to choose Vulkan when GPU Z shows no Vulkan support
  10. So I have this laptop, a Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 5 It has a Ryzen 4600H with Radeon Graphics and Nvidia GTX1650 now, in GPU -Z, The GTX1650 shows up doesn't support Vulkan, but It does. I tried reinstalling the Nvidia Drivers, same issue. I tried reinstalling the AMD driver, that fixed it. BUT It's a temporary fix. After a few restarts, it goes back to the same issue. Anybody experience with this before??
  11. I noted that already, look at my earlier replies. Also, all Source Engine games cap at 300, It's the default, even for CSGO. I think the reason why it tend to hover around 400 and 300 is because calculation inaccuracies. If you have the power of hardware, try running CSGO with fraps and see where it hover
  12. All Source Engine game have default framecaps of 300~ And it does matter for a tech reviewer. Because you wanna test out performance of your game.
  13. Yes, Linus didn't unlock the framecap. His team did, somebody in his team did uncapped the framerate. Linus has no idea about the framecap at all. We even see that evident in the video I linked
  14. that's not the point I was trying to make I'm just saying, it urks me in the wrong way that Linus just straight up says "oooh, I feel like it has more performance" When it doesn't at all when the game capped Compare two GPUs like an GTX1080 and RTX2090 They both reach 300fps~, you would assume it's CPU bottleneck. But when check the CPU, it's not utilizing to the fullest.
