  1. when it happens, the game stutters momentarily and then both my monitors will flash to a black screen/not display any images for maybe a second before returning to normal.
  2. I've been having this issue for a while now and I have no idea how to fix it. Like the title states, while I'm playing certain games, sometimes the game will stutter and both of my monitors will flash black momentarily. I've noticed this happens with games like Forza Horizon 5, GTA 5, and Spider-Man Miles Morales. My PC specs are an AMD 3700X w/Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro ATX mobo, Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32BG DDR-3200 CL16, Gigabyte Aorus RTX 3070ti Master, Corsair RM750x PSU. I also have two Samsung 970 Evos, one 500GB SSD that I have my OS and other applications on, and one 1TB one that I use for my game drive. I have two Pixio monitors at 1440p 144hz. Usually I have Firefox, Discord, Spotify, Rain Meter, and Wallpaper Engine running as well when this happens, I have tried closing those programs prior to running the games where this happens, but closing them does not change anything. I'm at a loss of what to do. When this happens, it disables my Wallpaper Engine and the only way to fix it is to restart my computer. Sometimes when I have a video open on Chrome, the entire app will freeze and the only way of fixing that is to shut it down using the task manager. And I've found that when it happens while playing Spider-Man, the control inputs will become all messed up. This also happened before I upgraded my GPU from a 2060 Super. I previously thought it may have been a RAM issue or maybe an issue with my mother boards BIOS, but replacing/updating both of those does not seem to fix the problem. I also typically have the latest graphics drivers installed so I do not believe it is a driver problem. My last thought is that it may be the power supply, but I am not sure.
  3. As the title states, I'm gonna be adding an SSd to my computer. This won't be for a few weeks, but I'll be doing an overal upgrade with a CPU, MoBo, and the SSD. I'm going with a Samsung 970 EVO M.2 NVME SSD. I want to keep my old hard drive for games and general storage, its a WD Caviar Blue 1TB. I guess my main question here would be, If I do a fresh install of windows on the SSD, would then need to format of hard drive or would I be able to delete the old install of windows from it. If its relevant, the other parts I'm getting are a Ryzen 3700X and Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite
