There seems to be a misunderstanding . I was playing assassin's creed valhalla . I wasn't installing anything or running anything else and I get a install.exe error in my event viewer . To me it seems like some rouge application is trying to install on my pc but it says unknown .
-
You mean the game I'm troubleshooting or the app in the error ?
-
sorry . seems the post glitched out there . but yeah . im not installing anything but i keep getting this error
-
Good day . i have been checking my event logs trying to troubleshoot a game that keeps crashing (only 1 game crashes) and i noticed this error in my event log . m not even installing anything . does anyone know what this is ?

I've worked with a diamatic machine before . The power cable popped out of the motor and the wires touched the ground ... it was a pure dry concrete floor and that plug was powerful enough to arc through the ground . It sounded like a gunshot and it burnt the floor black . Don't mess with the cable itself . It won't shock you like a PSU would . It would totally kill you .

I prettymuch bought a fully modular PSU because of the cable management space in the back of my tower . I plugged in the 24 pin . CPU cable . 1 sata power cable and the 2 GPU cables . The rest aren't plugged in and my cables barely fit well enough without having to push on the side panel ... I think that's the only real practical reason they exist though . You can get custom cables made for it but then again you dont need a modular psu for that . You can buy sleeved cable extensions. An example prettymuch would be a fancy 24 pin cable that plugs into the standard 24 pin cable and then into your motherboard ... like tricking you into thinking your cables are custom

Whoops . Misread . How do I delete -
Yeh but . Have you considered a pen that writes like a paintbrush ? Or a pen that looks like a pineapple . Maybe a pen pineapple apple pen But personally though I use a pilot 0.7mm ballpoint pen . It has liquid ink and isn't wasteful . It also writes pretty easily regardless of the pressure you put on it . It's not Gel but more like a runny liquid .. kinda like the liquid they use when writing with a quill

I can only think that it could've been a static charge that breached the breaker gap (wild guess) as soon as you plugged in the kettle plug . Probably somewhere between an input wire and a coil perhaps ? I've experienced that the 3 pin kettle plug can still make contact noises when you plug it into a PSU even if the PSU switch is turned off . I always try to make sure the wall plug is switched off when I plug that cable in regardless of the switch position of the power supply . There have been videos to see if static can actually kill a PC . Its extremely unlikely but possible

Does it sound like this ? 2eda718c-8096-4295-9eda-f8e5f7e9999a.mp4

Oh okay . Thanks . I've been considering taking my PC to work and testing it there . I think it might be my breakers but I'm not sure . I contacted corsair too because from what I've seen it's a common problem but then again . I'm not sure . Hopefully its not failing

Hi . I've been experiencing some electrical problems arround my apartment . One of these has been causing my PSU to make like a short circuiting sound constantly I took some time to read the back of the box and it says AC input rating 100v-240v 12A - 6A I checked the plug I have (didn't come with the PSU) and it shows 250v 16A . Is this a bad thing to have ?

Hmm I mean. My country goes buck wild when anything happens . They looted and burnt down 2 provinces when our former president turned himself in to the police for fraud . People protested and destroyed billions of dollars . Burnt down hundreds of privately owned businesses . And when shop owners got their revenge they were called racist .
