  1. Thanks, Ill go for 3600 and the Aorus Elite as i will need to Pre-order both as they are out of stock and there is no point me paying more to get the 3600x now when i dont have a board. Thanks you all for helping me ?
  2. Fair enough, I may consider OC in the future then plus if im going for a high end GPU ill need the PCI-E 4.0 Someone who must have been exaggerating then. Like i said im not good with AMD ?
  3. well. then ill go for Aorus X570 AORUS ELITE and the 3600x then. its £100 more then my original list but i'm willing to pay extra for reliability and upgradability especially when AM4 is supposed to last for 10 years or so (hopefully the chipset will be viable for a few gens more)
  4. My case does not support it and i don't use any Type-c kit so its no problem.
  5. Possibly overkill but is this board good? Aorus X570 AORUS ELITE its reduced that's why i ask.
  6. 3600 CPU by itself is £178 3600x CPU by itself is £199 So the tomahawk would be good for either of these CPUs
  7. to be even more awkward the only 3600 CPUs from said store are in this bundle and aren't sold separately currently therefore I was wondering if changing the CPU to a 3600x (I know performance difference is extremely minor) would mean that the Tomahawk would no longer be useful
  8. I should really have clarified that i am going for a gaming machine and i don't plan on OC'ing any time in the future
  9. I'm not necessarily bothered about price as long as it does not exceed £150. Yes the shop im buying from will update the BIOS of any board i ask for they did it for an old asrock board I needed for an Intel 4th gen.
  10. Sadly not, the B450 Tomahawk is also out of stock at the place im buying my case from. I was trying to get most of my components from one place. I think its actually cheaper to get the B450 tomahawk and CPU separately than the bundle, I was just wondering whether the ASUS MOBO was better.
  11. I am a novice when it comes to AMD boards and what to go for, I was wondering whether the motherboard linked below is a good choice for the Ryzen 5 3600 (In a bundle). I am aware that the board may need a new BIOS update which the store I am buying this from are happy to do for me. https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-B450-F-GAMING-Socket-Motherboard/dp/B07F714FT7 EDIT: I am going for a gaming machine and am not planning on Overclocking
  12. Thank you all, I'll keep my eyes out for any cyber monday deals before i get everything first, aswell i may splash abit on a different case as my Original build from 6 years ago was a Fractal Design R5 (i think) and i was going to go for a bit of a different case with a different Motherboard orientation ect. but I'm not that bothered so I might just stick with what i know and love, with Fractal. ?
  13. Thanks, I went with the corsair cooler as i have an older one in my current pc and its served me well but if its not needed ill go for a cheaper one.
  14. Thank you, My main worry with the motherboard was that i heard the VRMs on some z390 boards weren't as good so i may consider the AMD option. Also thanks for the better suggested parts I will definitely replace the G.Skill ram with those Hyper X options ?
  15. Hello, I have built a pc in the past around 6 years ago (i7 4th gen gaming pc) and am in need of an upgrade in order to play newer games at a better resolution etc. however i've encountered a few problems finding a reliable motherboard. My budget is around £1700 but i can be flexible, here is my current mockup feel free to suggest replacements for any other items.
