  1. Alrighty I'll get them and if the mic is really bad, I'll just get a standalone one. Thank you for the information and help!
  2. My Z370 uses ALC1220, so Cloud Alpha it is. Have you used them by any chance? I've been reading that there is a lot of crosstalk on the microphone
  3. Greetings fellow tech tipers! I'm looking to replace my current headset - Kraken 2019 with another one. I've scoped a few and they are the following - Logitech G PRO X, HyperX Cloud Alpha, HyperX Cloud II What are your opinions if you've used these headsets? P.S. I know it's better to buy quality headphones like the Beyerdynamic DT 990 and a standalone mic but due to budget and desk size restrictions, I can't do it. Thanks in advance!
  4. From what I can see, you pretty much built the top of the line PC. The only improvement you can do CPU wise is getting an EPYC. What I would do to save some money is buy a Win 10 Pro Key from a website, they are like dirt cheap. I don't think giving 100$ to Microsoft for the Home version is worth it imo. Here is what I've done - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/drFDQ6 Went with non rgb ram, but you can change it if you really want RGB. 2x32GB should be fine and if you see that you need more, just buy another set.
  5. I edited it a little bit and went £25 over £1000 for a total of £1025. See if this is something you'd like - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/hsRCZw
  6. I can wait until Black Friday tbh. It's my brother that doesn't have a PC and he's urging me to buy stuff so he can get this GPU. The only iffy thing is that he didn't show GPU-Z/benchmark screenshots. But he took photos and the GPU is working, LEDs are light and etc. The model is a MSI Gaming X RTX 2070 Super I looked at used RX 6600 and XT versions, they are like 100-200eur more expensive for some reason.
  7. @Dedayog Hey Deda, sadly it didn't work out with that rtx 2070. I've been looking at 1080s but I'm kinda worried about it because they are kinda old and the chance of it dying because it's used is huge. I found a 2070 Super for 370 EUR/$380. Is the price worth it in 2022 or should I wait a little bit more?
  8. What I did when I stopped using my old PC was install a headless Linux on it without a GUI, setup the backup stuff and then I just used PuTTY if I needed to do something on the machine (like running a game server or something else) and for the backup i just used FTP or a windows network connection. TLDR - I think you are over-thinking it.
  9. Alright. 2070 it is. Was asking because a friend of mine told me he has a 2060 almost new and would give it for cheaper but I do After Effects and etc, so I would need those extra 2 GB from the 2070. Thanks so much for the help and the info!
  10. Thank you! If the deal isn't to my liking, is there are huge difference between the 2060 and 2070?
  11. Alright. Found a used RTX 2070 for 250-300$. Is that a fair price for the GPU for being 3 years old?
  12. I've decided to go for a RTX 2070. Are there any specific manufacturers that are better than others?
  13. It's decent. I'm not complaining. I usually play on low settings because I play FPS games. What would you suggest as an AMD option? I've got a Freesync monitor so I'd like to utilize the Freesync option because I currently cannot use it due to my gpu being Nvidia. Edit: The monitor is 60hz because I didn't have a huge budget back then. Might upgrade to 144hz in the near future.
  14. None as of now. You could list GPU's if you want and I'll check local prices and adjust accordingly.
