  1. Thanks for the suggestion! Do you have full control about the settings? I'm hosting some services at my home and I see that sometimes you cannot disable firewall temporary on some routers..
  2. Hello all, i need some help to decide which setup is best for my situation: I want to upgrade my router + access points setup in order to get more wifi spread in my house. General description of house: 6 meters width (from east to west), 12 meters depth (from north to south) and 3 stories + attic (no wifi signal needed here) high. Every wall is brick (10cm thicc) and the section in between the different floors are made of solid concrete (about 20cm thicc) Description of the house where i need a good wifi signal: Floor 0: 1 office room north side, access to wired connection (via gigabit switch tho). Floor 1: full coverage (living room + kitcher). The router entry point is on south side of floor 1. Floor 2: Good coverage on south side + average on north side. I want to later also add good coverage on north side on floor 2 (2 kid rooms). I've got 600€. I want to go towards a wifi mesh setup, for the ease of fast roaming etc, but i can only put nodes on the far north or far south side of the house on all floors. What do you guys recommend? router + access points or wifi mesh? or just 1 access point that can have a very good signal in the rooms and just a smaller access point in the office on floor 0? Thanks anyway!
  3. Hello smart people, I have a problem: I have a modem from my ISP that i have bridged with my own router (to get full control over my network). I receive my internet signal via a coaxial cable and is connected to the ISP modem. I enabled the bridging setting of my ISP modem (to disable any routing logics) and i had to enter my MAC address of my router which worked fine. I connected the coaxial cable to the modemof my ISP. Then i connected from the ISP modem WAN port to my own router's LAN port. Now inside my ISP's modem i can see the WAN ip as my public IP address and my own router's WAN IP address is the local address of my ISP modem. I spider senses are telling me that my ISP's modem is also doing some routing stuff (as the ISP modem has an ip like 192.168.0.XXX and my own router has an IP like 192.168.1.XXX) Did i connect my ISP modem and my router correctly? (WAN to LAN port?) Or is there another setting i have to toggle on or off? I want that the ISP modem only passes the public ip to my own router and not assign a local ip address.. (sub domain?) Muchas gracias!
  4. Hello guys, just installed msi afterburner to have a look a the numbers. I did a check while playing KSP, and I got what i have on the image: GPU: 47°C, 35% Usage CPU: 74°C, 39% Usage D3D11 (FPS): 46FPS Why don't i get more FPS? 6. Hey guys, I'm planning to upgrade my gaming rig with a new cpu, motherboard and memory. What do you think about this setup for gaming?: CPU: ryzen 5 5600x MB: Gigabyte B550M Aorus Pro Memory: Corsair 32 GB DDR4-3200 Kit (black, CMK32GX4M2B3200C16, Vengeance LPX, XMP) Is the memory good enough for good performance (like low latency?). Don't know too much about that Any changes you would make with arguments? Budget i'm aiming for is 500-600 euros in Europe Thankss!
  7. Thanks for the answers, but here I was aiming for the CPU clock speed, not the memory but good insights anyway, so thanks!
  8. I'm looking for upgrading my motherboard/CPU/memory for my gaming setup. Bow that AMD announced the 5000 series, its looking interesting to go for that but I still see that intel still has more clock speed for the same amount of €€€. Budget for the CPU/MB/Memory is around 500 to 600 european pesos. --> putting CPU cost around 300€ Playing games like Warzone, Valorant, League of Legends, Kerbal Space Program My burning questions: - Does more clock speed = better for gaming? - Does more cores/threads mean better gaming? (See games above) I am forever in your dept for the nice answers alrdy!
  9. Could you elaborate why it would be an upgrade? just by looking at the clockspeed? (newby here)
  10. Today i have an Intel Core i7-2600 in my gaming rig. Would it be an upgrade if I would replace my cpu (and MB as a result of it) with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600?
  11. Hello all, I try to play COD warzone and notice that I have to put my settings at low to get 60fps (even though I have 144hz monitor..) My rig is quite old, but did some upgrades during his life. My question is what is my limiting factor at this point? My rig: B ASUS P8H67 rev 3.00 MEMORY 2x KVR1333D3N9/4G 2x KVR1333D3S8N9/2G CPU INTEL CORE i7 2600 GC GIGABYTE Geforce GTX 1060 WINDFORCE OC 6gb DRIVE SAMSUNG SSD PRO 256GB NETWORK TP-LINK 300Mbps Wireless N Adapter PSU XILENCE XP600.(135)R3
  12. Last day, I started my PC and I got no video output any more all of the sudden. Every time I boot my PC (when everything was still working) I hear a beep to indicate that my PC booted correctly (I suppose?) I still hear the same beep, but now no video output anymore. I tried different cables, didn't work. I tested with a different pc, and the monitor still works. I tried swapping all the RAM sticks one by one, I reinstalled my GPU, didn't worked.. I don't have another video output on my MOBO, so I can't see if the MOBO works fine.. MOBO: asus motherboard PBH67 GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 Windforce OC 6G Any help?
