  1. I've asked the store and they said they will update the BIOS for me, so that's no problem anymore. Do you still think I should go with Mortar in this case? Watched a couple of videos. I think you are right, probably will go with Intel 660p. It appears Vengeance is out of stock -__- Probably will go with Trident Z 3200Mhz in that case, but it is not low profile, so that brings me to my next question. I don't think it will matter a lot, since I will use only second and fourth RAM slots and Be quiet's mobo compatibility checker says it is half compatible(yellow checkmark, I think it means first RAM is covered), but still. Do you think Mortar + Trident Z + Dark Rock 4 combo is compatible? BTW, how do you think this whole build does in VR? Thanks
  2. I had a bit of a PC-size racism before you suggested me to buy mATX boards, but now I am a bit more open to them. I rethought my build after that: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Zhanadil/saved/xNvTCJ "ASRock B450M Steel Legend" apparently is not 3000 ready, so I am thinking between A-Pro Max and a bit cheaper "MSI B450M Mortar Titanium", which has BIOS Flash feature. Obviously, I shifted to mATX build and changed the case to NZXT H400. Because of that I utilized M.2 to save some space, so I moved to it, instead of a regular SATA SSD. Some research lead me to an opinion that AMD stock coolers are very loud, so I added BeQuiet Dark Rock 4 to my list. Is the difference noticeable, or should I keep the stock cooler? I found RM550X in one of my local stores, but it is non-2018 version, afaik the only difference is in size. Do you know if there is anything else I should know before buying it? Also, I didn't notice before, but motherboards that I am looking for don't support 3600mhz RAM, so I switched to Corsair Vengeance 3200. I don't really understand what I should look for to know if it is compatible with my build. Could you help me with that? Besides that, I heard that RAM speed is 2166 by default, so I have to OC it to get to 3200mhz. Do I have to tweak my build a bit, so that I don't have any problems with heating or power consumption or anything else if I OC it? Is there anything else I could have missed? Maybe this whole build is garbage from the beginning, or there are some minor things I should consider, any help is appreciated. Thanks
  3. Thanks for your reply, I could not find these motherboards in my city, but I found some potential alternatives. ASRock B450 Steel legend and MSI B450 A-PRO MAX, are they okay? They are microATX, so I have a question, what are the differences with ATX (and potential problems for my build), besides the size? I can only see that there are 2 DDR4 slots in the MSI motherboard. Also, thanks for suggesting to change the PSU, I actually thought that this one is pretty decent. I looked some PSUs from this list: https://www.pcgamer.com/best-power-supply-unit-for-pc-gaming-our-top-psu-for-pc/ I could find "Corsair RM650x 80 PLUS Gold" and "Cooler Master MasterWatt 650". I like that the latter one is fanlesss under 15% load, but probably it is louder than the Corsair on high load? Are these PSUs okay, or should I look for even more expensive ones? Also, these PSUs are designed for ATX builds(from what I found). Does it mean it is not compatible with motherboards that I mentioned above? Or is it written only for size description? Thanks

Will I have any problems? I initially planned on adding MSI B450 Gaming Plus instead, but I read that there are some problems with updating the BIOS without an older CPU, so I thought that it is safer to change it to x570 instead. Is it a real problem? Should I keep it as it is, or is it fine to buy b450? Also, I think about buying Valve Index sometime later, probably when HL: Alyx will come out. Do you think this build is enough to play it? Thanks
