  1. Hi, my NAS is making these weird sounds and I am scared that it might not be good for the disks! Are the sounds in the video normal? What should/can I do? 775CA694-F9DC-42F8-B7AC-E5466D7015CF.MOV
  2. I have an MSI Z370 A-Pro with an i3-8100. The system posts normally when no ssd is installed. When I install my M.2 drive, the system doesn't post, and weirdly the CPU-debug-leg lights up. Any ideas? The SSD shouldn't be the problem, assuming it is damaged, I actually returned it and got a new one now, same thing. I don't have any other parts to do further troubleshooting. If no-one can help me here, I'll return the board … Thanks in advance
  3. Hi, I want to buy an 8700K I'd also like to buy a motherboard, obviously Should I wait 1-2 weeks to buy them? I'm also searching for a board which would preferably have thunderbolt and displayport built in. Does anyone know when any new Z370-Boards come out? Thanks

  5. Does anyone of you have a suggestion for an external soundcard working with windows an macintosh? most soundcards only work with windows... all i really need is an stereo output for my headphones and it should be under 100$. thanks
  6. I don't want to hook my nas directly up to my pc, because i also use it with other pcs, how do i set it up then(i would buy a pcie nic)
  7. I often have some filetransfer running from my main machine to my nas. During that I sometimes game, but then my ping goes up to 600ms. Could I solve this problem with a dedicated Ethernetport for gaming? If yes, how do I set it up? Thanks for your help!
  8. What resolution are you planning gaming on? For 1920x1080 i'd buy a 7970 for getting all the games in the neversettle bundle OR what i'd do is buying a 770 not for better performance, i'd do for the recording function (watch ncixcom's Video on the 770 for this). When you game on hoher resolution as fullhd you can buy the 780. Metrolastlight in 1080p with 770 runs just above 30 fps so buying a 780 isn't a that bad idea. And hey why 1200watt?? Way too much. I'll run a 770 with 600 Watt PSU But the rest is great. And you'd bottleneck the 780 a bit with only pcie 2.0 i think Theresia is only one AMD pcie 3.0 board. Its an asus sabertooth one. Costs about 200.

  10. no overclock no dust, monitored in the bios and it's loud and the only fan so i think it's right
  11. Hey guys, short question: Is it normal that my Corsair CX600 spins at around 1000 rpm, have an i3 und a 6870. When I'm in the bios it also shows 988rpms. So that's pretty loud and as it's the only fan in my system I hate my PSU for that. Is that normal? Thanks
  12. Tried everything. Its just a backup of my laptop so as long as it doesn't break in the next days I don't care about any data. should i send to the shop or should i open it first?
  13. Hey guys, about 6 months ago I bought a new TOSHIBA 1,5TB, 2,5" external harddrive. everything was ok with it but today i plugged it in and it didn't show up in the explorer, not even in the disk management.... so can i do something? thanks for your help
