  1. I asked a friend at work and he couldn't fit the 12TB Seagate HDD into the tray. I am drawing the conclusion that the two are incompatible. Rather than try breaking off a part of the tray so that the HDD will fit, I have contacted Thermaltake Tech Support and asked for alternative types of trays. Thermaltake may only have that one type of tray, so I am undecided on what to do if that's the case.
  2. Yes, they are like that, and when you look closely along the sides there are protrusions, or nipples, staggered from the clip. Not the rubbery ones from the sides clips, but coming up from the bottom. Thanks for taking time to check this one out, maybe you will see a way around this.
  3. Mmm, I read the manual before posting. The hard plastic nipples are on the bottom.
  4. Hi everyone, I'm looking for help with an issue I'm having. I can't fit an HDD into the tray of my chassis. I have a Thermaltake Tower 900 case. My Seagate HDD needs to fit in the tray. I would like to use the HDD I purchased, but I cannot figure out fitting the HDD into the tray. It seems like it should be easy and maybe it is. I am doing something wrong or there is a compatibility issue. I want to understand which issue I'm having. I would supremely enjoy using the HDD I bought. To give more details: there are plastic, hard nipples on all the trays. When I try to fit the HDD into the tray, the nipples prevent a level placement of the HDD. Do you have any knowledge to help me? Do you have any wisdom to help me?
