  1. We need a little bit more info. Did you flash the BIOS recently? Reset the CMOS battery? Since we can't see the physical PC, we need more information to help.
  2. I believe you could change the DNS servers to do so. OpenDNS has a family setting for DNS servers, but I'm not sure if they still offer it. You could look it up, but I think they do. Edit: Looks like they do. https://www.opendns.com/setupguide/#familyshield
  3. What kind of specifications? If you bought a dual GPU laptop, it might work. I have one with a GeForce 940M and it connects really well with monitors. Try something like that.
  4. I can upload my shit to the cloud and have Google sell it? Gross.
  5. Be aware that they have bandwidth overages. I can't remember them off the top of my head at the moment, but it's really not at all that bad I believe.
  6. Even then, you'll probably be limited to sites like AliExpress for the card itself. Specialty cards like M.2 Wi-Fi cards don't come by easy on sites like Newegg or Amazon. Look carefully for one.
  7. Same! It's probably not a bad idea, now that I think about it. Doxing is a real issue, and half those accounts I can't even login to.
  8. Cool, good to know! Which speed? I doubt I'd go the gig speed route considering how much it is, but I'm wondering what you have.
  9. Grab a cheap VM first and follow some tutorials on how to secure it/host a web server on it. I happen to use Linode and it's pretty nice. They've got some promo codes for free credit if you look them up. Try them.
  10. I've got an MSI B450 Tomahawk and it's treated me nicely. I know MSI is like a love-hate thing for a lot of people, but the Tomahawk has given me good luck anyway. ASRock if you don't wanna chance it.
  11. I'd be careful about anything from a direct from China site like AliExpress. You never know about that kind of stuff, it's either really good or breaks immediately. That's the thing.
  12. The guy is just straight out insane. Smart, but incredibly insane. He's like if Tony Stark had bipolar. I'm serious. There's some issue with him.
  13. We got screwed out of our local provider (Metronet) coming to my neighborhood last year, with AT&T taking over the fiber installation afterwards. I'm not (particularly) a big AT&T fan after how garbage their DSL was several years back, but I might be willing to give them another chance. Are they any good at all? Metronet is supposedly still mulling coming here, but I doubt they'll even touch AT&T territory.
