  1. Hello everyone, I'm a Property Manager in Calgary, Canada and we're looking to purchase and TV and speakers for one of the social lounges in the building I manage. Home theatre is not something I have any knowledge of, so reaching out for some advice. Here is is some of the basic information. The room - it's a large concrete wall room and two walls are floor to ceiling glass, well over 15ft ceilings, probably close to 20-25ft I would say. The budget - I don't have a concrete budget but I'm not looking to overspend here for features that we don't need. Why? - We're looking to add something we can do resident events with (we have 369 units in our high rise building) so movie nights around holidays, game day parties, regular children's movie nights. What we need - 4K TV (preferably OLED) that is at least 75 inches but the bigger the better, some additional sound system based on the size of the room, something that we can stream Disney, Netflix and Amazon Prime from and is also compatible with a Fire Stick. Any advice would be wonderful! Thanks everyone!
  2. Hello everyone, So I recently decided to sleeve my own cables to add the finishing touches to my build but I have run into something that has confused me. I have been using this pin out diagram for my Corsair RM750x PSU (https://pc-mods.com/blogs/psu-pinout-repository/corsair-psu-type-4-cables-pinout) 24 pin and CPU cables are installed and working fine. But I noticed that the 8 pin PCI-E connectors for my GPU (RTX 3070) don't go into the PSU, there is a join between two of the terminal housings that means I can't plug it into the PSU (see photo 1). However, when I looked at my cables supplied by corsair with the PSU I noticed that the connector for the PSU side of the GPU appears to be an EPS?! (see photo 2) Is this right? Following the pin out diagram I have linked I also have a 'no wire' in a different place from the corsair cables (see photo 3)! Please help! Don't want to fry my lovely 3070! Have also included photo of case at present (see photo 4), would like to get those GPU cables in soon to complete it.
  3. Hello everyone, So I recently got a Corsair H100i Pro XT AIO and the Corsair Commander Pro. I had previously been running 6 Corsair SP120 Pro RGB case fans through the RGB hub (which worked fine) but I've had to reconfig a bit because I only have 2 JUSB connections on my mobo (MSI x570 A Pro). So I now have the usb connections on my mobo taken up with the AIO and the commander pro and the RGB fan hub is coming through the USB passthrough on the commander pro. Here's the annoying thing, the RGB fan hub doesn't appear on icue software now and it also doesn't have a cable to connect to the LED lighting channel on the commander pro, so I just can't control the RGB on these fans now (very annoying) I also can't find any lighting node cores in stock with the correct LED connection for the commander pro in the UK. Any workarounds? Would really appreciate the help. Thanks. :)
  4. Well I don’t want to spend more than £1200 ideally, that’s why I like AMD based models as they are generally better bang of the buck.
  5. Then who would you recommend within that kind of budget range?
  6. Does anyone have a lenovo legion laptop and have any opinions on it? I'm thinking about getting the AMD model as I am an AMD fanboy xD. Just needing it for casual indie titles and everyday use. Will also serve as my main gaming computer when I move to Canada in the next year until I get a build sorted out with the new AMD hardware (again AMD fanboy hahaha) Thanks!
  7. This is what I eventually went with, decided to keep the gpu at a lower price point as it does everything I need it to now until I get better monitors. 8. Build is done, thought I'd share the completed product with you. Super happy with my white + blue finish and the overall look.
  9. It actually just crashed as you said that haha. Gonna stick it down to 150 and see if it's stable now for longer.
  10. Thanks everyone, I decided to try and do it manually in afterburner and I managed to get the following benchmark in Heaven using these settings: https://gyazo.com/a3238ba32a5ae98198ebaf31eb1afd60
  11. The voltage slider is a % plus though, surely I don't want to be adding 100% voltage to the gpu?
  12. Surely if I set everything to max and apply it will just crash right?
  13. Hey guys, So I just built my new rig and I'm pretty happy with it, I'm just trying to learn about overclocking my GPU for the first time. These are my current settings and my Time Spy score with the OC, everything is stable but I wanted to get your advice on if I'm doing anything unnecessary or missing out on some performance with these settings. I'm running the MSI GTX 1600Ti Armor https://gyazo.com/2e830fc68c3303437fa0a90342bda65d https://gyazo.com/f939a0556064434bb516931e9e4d9be2 https://gyazo.com/3eb1d3d62b012f7fb7ed6e6e9dae86fd Cheers.
  14. Hey guys, I’m building a new PC to upgrade from my old GTX 760. I’m not really interested in 2k gaming yet but I am thinking about upgrading my monitor from 60hz to something higher up to 144Hz. I’m going to be running a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU so what’s your opinions on the best price to performance for higher refresh rates on a 1080p resolution?
