There is people like me who got a x570 and are waiting on something better just to max out the performance

I would say just wait till the price drops some more and get her just a 3900x or xt for about $350-400 and call it a day

Maybe because someone wants to upgrade from zen+ and has a b450 max or they just got stupid money and can buy every gen.

People just sell the old stuff and buy the newest stuff it's not a huge load. Ebay and craigslist is loaded

Like wise here, I got it in july as well, my plans are keeping it till am5 comes out and then get 5800x or hopefully a refresh (XT) comes out before 6xxx series, so that I get some use out of my x570.

Btw I am about to upgrade her rig from a i7 2600k @4.7 to  a 2600x not getting her a gpu till maybe next year the 1070 should be more then enough for her 1080p @144fps.

Yeah 3700x on a x570 tuf. You have to set the speed to let's say 3600 the the fclk 1/2 of that so 1800mh. Then you use ryzen calculator and copy the timings. I do 5 at the time see if it's boots then when everything is fine I try to tighten the timings see if I could squeeze some more out of it.

I had a rx5700xt and it wouldn't work, but my gtx1070 worked in the same slot. It had a issue with the pcie running on pcie4.0.

I had this same problem with a x570 tuf and it was my top pcie slot. Try a different pcie slot, see if that helps

I have no complains with my Viper Patriot 4400mhz. I know with this kit I am set till ddr5 comes out and tbh this is the best kit I ever had. Not sure if I got lucky or what.

That's hella steep of a price, I would look at some viper patriot samsung b die for 1/3 of that price. 

I got some running at 3733 cl15 at 1.45v gear down off I could probably manage cl14 around 1.50v or less v.

Hello, I just got my gf a 2600x with a Asrock ab350m for a $150. She is currently running a i7 2600k @4.7 with a gtx 1070. My question is this can I oc at all on a asrock ab350m? I have a Wraith prism laying around from my 3700x that I would throw on it.

also what's the highest I could go with ram on that mobo? Can I use Crucial Ballistix 3200mhz? I think is E die. Can I go higher?

Resolution I really don't see any difference between 27 1440p and 24 1080p but that's just me

I have a ViewSonic 27 1440p 144hz with the rx 5700xt and I wish I got a 24 1080p 240hz. 

I have both a msi g241 1080p 144hz and a 27 ViewSonic 1440p I personally can't see a difference both are IPS panels 

Get the MSI optix g241 I got it for around $150 on amazon is 1080p 144hz 1ms IPS and it's the best bang for the buck.

I had the same issues try using the bottom pcie slot. My rx5700xt didn't work in the first slot but my gtx1070 did, so I tried the 2ed slot with the rx5700xt and it worked fine.
