  6. I bought a USB 3.0 around 5 years ago, I had a entry level laptop at that time and then I got the change to upgrade my computer to a better one and I decided to use the USB to transfer my most important files and when I was transferring my files from the old laptop to the USB, my computer got stacked in the process and I wait for around 30 minutes to see if the transferring continue but it did not. all the computer was stacked and I couldn't even turn it off so I just unplugged the USB and manually turned off the laptop afterwards. Then I connected the USB to the new computer and everything seemed ok, the files that I care the most were there and others less important did not transfer to the usb. I started to transfer the files to my new pc but during the process it got stacked and then the USB stopped responding and then it disconnected by itself. I tried again a few times but the outcome was always the same, it stopped responding and eventually it disconnects. I was able to navigate through the folders and see the all files without any problem but when I specifically go to one folder it always stopped responding and eventually disconnects. With the time it got only worse. Now I cannot even see the files on my usb because as soon as I connected the file explorer stops working and it doesn't even let me see the files anymore. It always appears for a few seconds on my pc and then it disconnects. It doesn't even show me how much storage space is being used. Is there a way I can fix the usb without losing any data or formatting the usb? Is there a software or tool that I could use to finally recover those files? Thank you so much in advance for the help.
  7. Hi! thanks for your answer, at 1440p it uses a little more than 6gb of vram.
  8. Hi! I have a question regarding the vram of my gpu. I have a rtx 2070 super and its supposed to have 8gb of vram but when I open Forza Horizon 5 benchmark at the end it says I only have 7.2gb of vram, this happens when I use my main monitor but when I use my second monitor which is my tv it says I have 6.6gb of vram instead of 8. I'm using a display port cable for my main monitor which has a resolution of 1440p at 144 hz and my tv I have it connected to my gpu too through a hdmi cable, my tv has a resolution of 2160p at 120 hz. As I said, both displays are connected to my dedicated graphics card. I while ago I was using my integrated gpu and I thought it might be taking some vram from my main gpu so I disable it in the bios but it didn't fix the issue. My specifications are: i7 9700 (non k), 16gb of ram, rtx 2070 super, the latest windows 10 update, 1tb of storage and a ssd m.2 for windows boot. Here is a picture of the issue too.
  9. Hello! I was wondering if it is possible to play in one screen while working on another display at the same time? I tried by putting the game in borderless mode but each time I open the browser in the other screen the game even thought it does not close it stops responding and it does not follow the game pad inputs until I click it in the taskbar again. So I was wondering if there is a way that I can play a game and play it while another person is working in the other screen without stoping the game? I have the two displays connected to the same gpu, one with a hdmi cable which is the TV and the other with a display port cable which is the monitor.
  10. Hi! thank you for your answer. It doesn't only happen on youtube but around 90% of the time happens when I use youtube. Could you please guide me with the steps of how to setting the static IP address in the network adapter and manually adding the gateway IP in the required field?
  11. I started having this problem around 4 or 3 days ago and I've tried everything that I've seen in other web pages and videos and nothing has helped. I'm connected to the internet through an ethernet cable and I can navigate on the internet normally but whenever I go to YouTube and I watch a video at 2160p a couple of minutes after I started watching the video, my computer is unable to connect to the internet. I just troubleshoot the problem and its fixed. it says "The default gateway is unavailable. Fixed." and the internet comeback and I can navigate normally until I watch a YouTube video. I've reset my router. I've make sure that the ethernet cable is properly connected to my pc but non of that worked. I also updated the ethernet driver and I tried by uninstalling it and letting window re-install it too and it didn't work. I've reset the network and it didn't work, I hope some of you guys could help me please.
  12. Hello! I bought a alienware aurora r6 back in 2017, I've been upgrading it since then. Now I am thinking to upgrade the motherboard but I have many questions regarding the storage and the data I have in them. First I wanna know that if for example I disconnect one of my ssd (the one without windows) and I reconnect it again would I lose the data stored in that particular ssd? Another question that I have is what happens if I upgrade to a new motherboard? I think I have the licence of windows that expires when the motherboard dies. So I think that if I change the motherboard I will have to buy windows, in that case, if I connect my 2 ssd's and one hdd to the new motherboard would I lose the data in them? As I said before, I want to move my pc components to a new motherboard and a new case but I don't wanna lose the data in my drives. I would like some advice and knowledge about drives. Thank you so much in advance for responding.
