  1. Thanks for the replys, I ended up ordering a 5700xt. If the problems annoy me too much I'll just return it and get a 1070 probably.
  2. It can get over 144 but it doesn't stay there, it jumps around anywhere from like 50-158. Some days it stays at 120 fps, some days it wont go higher than 80 fps And yeah most settings are on very high
  3. Wanting to upgrade from r9 380 4gb PC specs 2700x 16gb ram 750w psu Monitor is 1080p 144hz I'm having a really hard time deciding what's worth it to upgrade to. All are new(I won't buy used) 1070 $220 2060 $324 Rx 5700 $368 2060 super $432 RX 5700x gigabyte oc $432 USD tax and shipping are included in the prices. I want to get 144fps on rocket league(which i know any of these will do) and around 80 fps minimum on other games high/ultra. I'm thinking if I get the 1070 I'll have to upgrade in 2 years. And idk if the 2060 is worth $100 more than the 1070, doesn't seem like it. If I get the 2060 super or 5700 or 5700xt, I'll probably keep it for 5 years like my r9 380. I really want the 5700 or 5700xt but idk if it's worth dealing with all the driver issues. I guess I could get one and try it out but the 2060 super seems pretty similar in performance for the Same price and 99% chance I won't have driver issues. Ive never spent more than $230 on a gpu and I'm hesitant to spend any more than $400 but I'm considering it for the 2060 super or 5700xt. What I really want is a good 8GB card for $350 (which i guess would be an rx 5700) but I'm almost positive I'll have driver issues. Most of the time I play rocket league or older games but once in a while I'll want to play a more demanding game, that's why I'm considering the 1070 but i feel like I might regret it in a year. It almost feels pointless to upgrade right now since none of the GPU's seem worth it for one reason or another, and idk if waiting for new nvidia cards this year will make any difference. I would appreciate your opinion, so tell me what you think.
