  1. So changing the thermal paste won't really change anything?
  2. I just built a new PC and it seems that I get around 50-55 degrees when idling with the stock cooler. Is that around a normal temperature? It even reached 90 degrees when playing HOTS. I had to remove the cooler once when I was building so I think the thermal paste might need to be changed. Also, I have an old Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO that I never opened. Is it compatible with the 3900x? Would that be better than the Wraith Prism?
  3. I built a new PC and I bought this ram. Using CPU-Z, I saw the RAM isn't going at the speed it should. I changed that in the BIOS by activating DOCP and changing the timing. When I restarted my PC and checked again, it was a bit faster but still not at the maximum speed.
  4. I just built a new PC with a NVME SSD, and I can't seem to find a way to change the m.2 from x2 to x4 in the BIOS. I go in the Onboard Devices Configuration but I don't have the option. I have a Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS motherboard and a Intel 660p NVME SSD.
  5. I'd like to future proof my rig as well. Would a Ryzen 9 really not be necessary 5 years down the line? Also, for the SSD, can I have more than one of the NVME?
  6. 1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz but I'll probably buy a better monitor eventually.
  7. Last time a bought a PC was around 9 years ago. I want to build a new one, and since it's black friday soon, I thought now would be the best time. My budget is around 2000-2200$. I live in Canada. I pretty much use my PC for gaming. I play pretty much any game so I would like a good PC so I can max everything. WoW, FF14, Division 2, and any new releases. No peripherals and no OS needed. This is what I came up with. Thanks.
