  1. Update: Still no responds from pressing or shorting the pins. If I plug in a ethernet cable and get lights on the wlan port. Can this be an indicated the CPU has died somehow?
  2. moved the mobo to the old case (SilverStone SG13) and plugged the old PSU. Having only the CPU and RAM on the board no life sign from pressing power button.
  3. Yarp, already unplugged and replugged everything a couple of times.
  4. Hi LLT. I've acquired a new itx case and have swapped components around from a former ITX build to a new case (Evolv Shift Air). Things I've swapped over from the former build is Mobo, RAM, CPU and GPU. New things, PSU (Corsair SSF 750watt) and CPU cooler (Noctua L12s). I had the build up and running managed to install windows 10 with just the basics connected. Powered down and wanted to connect all fans / case connections and a different GPU. Now I can't get any sign of life out of the system, tried swapping back to the previous GPU, the old system powersupply (corsair TX650m). My guess is the mobo has died in the process somehow. I've yet to check if the Riser Cable for the GPU could be the reason but then FANs would at least start spinning right? Cheers.
  5. Enabling Q-Fan control and setting pump speeds through bios are also ineffective. Had to do a hard reset of CAM (cutting the power).
  6. Hi there. Last week I added the Kraken X63 to my build and all was great. Today on boot the pump defaults to 2700 RPM and I can't seem to control it through CAM. Going through any of the pre-profils or making a new ones doesn't affect the pump speed it stays at 2700 RPM. Why is this a problem? With the pump at 2700 RPM there's a high pitch noise so even when idling my computer has become very noisy. Which defeats the purpose of installing the x63. I've spend the last few hours searching without finding a possible solution or answer as to why this might have happen. Other than CAM software being derp. Help? Turns out the CAM software did a derp. I managed to reset it by cutting the power from the PSU. Now I can control pump speeds through CAM again (also see liquid temps).
  7. Hi LLT. I'm helping a friend put together a system. Basically I got a asrock B360 Fatal1ty Gaming 4k board and an i5-9400F. Is there a way for us to check what BIOS the mobo has pre-installed without installing a 8th gen CPU first? Or can we update the BIOS without having to install a 8th gen CPU first? Cheers!
  8. Well I see staying below 70° as a win. Since the stock cooler ran the card at 83° and on the aftermarket cooler it is maxing out at 68° on benchmarks. Currently I'm not that worried about the temps but trying to figure out if I have damaged my card during the installation of the aftermarket cooler or am I damaging my card because I might have made an error during installation and can either of those be fixed. Current answer to my question: No my GPU isn't dying Both Furmark and Heaven ran without the FPS fluxing Other games (Apex Legends) doesn't seem to suffer these FPS flux CoD: MW might be the sinner on it's own. I just find it weird as these FPS flux weren't present on the stock cooler.
  9. I feel like my system fails here. Heaven 1080 High benchmark min fps: 9.7 max fps: 505.7 average: 276.1 and a score of 6954. Compared to this score with the same CPU My system performs 2/3s worse. Heaven also pushed the temp of my GPU up to 68.
  10. From a Corsair VS650 to Be Quite System Power 9 700W
  11. after defaulting: http://www.ozone3d.net/gpudb/score.php?which=828691 Going to try Heaven as well as it seems like a closer render to Modern Warfare.
  12. I ran a 6 min test looking at the FPS counter on Furmark (1024 x 768). The FPS counter helt fairly steady at 280, a few dips down to 270 at random. The temp of the GPU maxed at 65. A 1080 benchmark gave me this Now I'm thinking it might not be the GPU at fault here?
  13. I might need some quick guidance here as well. Hwmonitor only shows one temp measure under my GPU, is there a specific read for GDDR6 somewhere? I did buy the card shortly after release but I haven't experience artifacting on the stock cooler at all or FPS fluxes. Does those brick cards include 2080? or was it just the 2080 TIs?
