  1. Asus P8 H61-M LX3 R2.0 motherboard Xeon 1240v2(equivalent to 3770) 16gb ddr3 1600MHz 1TB HDD Antec VP550P (550W)
  2. I was thinking of upgrading my old rig into a gaming one. But all I have is an Asus P8 H61-M LX3 R2.0 motherboard and a Xeon 1240v2(equivalent to i7 3770) and 16gb ddr3 ram.Buying a new motherboard is difficult for me ,since I have a PCIe 3.0 slot I thought of buying a new GPU. Is it okay for me to use a vega 56 or RX 5500 XT or 1660 Super cause these are my options currently and I can also find good PSUs for their recommended Power Usage for a cheap price. But recently a vendor just told me that It won't work cause the new graphics card are complex and power consuming. He is telling me to buy a 2gb graphic card from 2015 as that can only work as they do not require power from the PSU and only from the PCIe slot. Is he correct or wrong cause buying a new PSU and the fact that I have a PCIe 3.0 solves the problem
  3. I just pulled out my GPU to put it back again as it was not fitting so when I did 3 pins came out of their slots but were still standing. When I inserted the Graphics card back it worked for the night but stopped working I suspected the pins so when I took out the graphics card I found this(Image posted) to my horror will I need to buy a new motherboard cause I'm planning to get a new GPU as well and how should I fix this?
  4. So what 550W PSU can be used for Cabinet that only supports PSU with a fan at the back/rear
  5. Can I use a workstation PSU with an AMD RX 5500? My Specs: Xeon 1240v2 Asus P8 H61-M LX3 R2.0 2×8gb DDR3 1600MHz 2TB SATA HDD Current Umax 450W https://www.amazon.in/Umax-450W-UMAX-SMPS-Livewire/dp/B00DBYJ0CG The RX 5500 requires a 550W power supply So I found this 600W workstation PSU by HP https://www.ebay.com/itm/HP-Workstation-xw8200-600W-Power-Supply-Unit-Delta-PSU-345526-003-DPS-600NB/123764264226?hash=item1cd0eccd22:g:TEIAAOSw-7xc1wW1 Is it good for a GPU with 550W recommendation plus I also have a UPS to protect against fluctuations. So will it do the job? (PS I have a rig which supports a PSU with a fan at the back/rear not the top or front that's why I chose the workstation model PSU) And I can't spend money to buy a new gaming cabinet
