  1. I ended out doing a new install of windows as I was planning on doing one anyways | I no longer get the problem so I am not sure what made this happen. As of rn I run the game with V-sync off and FPS unlimited at 12 block render distance with no optifine (due to me playing 1.16 what doesn't support optifine yet) - Make sure u have up to date drivers etc as well! I do have 3700x + 2070 Super so with it being Intel there will prob be something different if u have the same setup as Vrehh or intel in general but nothing massive
  2. Thanks for the response: I will look into them
  3. Hello, I am in the market for some new headphones/headset for my computer and Laptop. I am currently stuck with some crappy earbuds what are awful for gaming etc. I was looking at the StealSeries line, however, I want to see some other opinions on them along with options you would go for at the £100 ($125) mark. PLEASE do not send links to American sites as most of the times the deals and availability DO not transfer over to England. I would rather have a detachable microphone and it doesn't matter if it is Wireless or Wired. I mainly play games like csgo etc so I think it is about time I get a new, decent pair of headphones - I will be taking these to college as well (when they re-open) so the option to remove the cable like steelseries or non-bulky headphones will be nice. Have a great day and remember to stay safe and ask for anymore questions if needed!
  4. I am currently using 3700x with x570 mobo but I originally had it paired with a b450 tomahawk max what is now in a different build - but with my experience I had no problem with the 3700x, most b450 mobo support 3rd gen ryzen and if u aren't sure u can easily find out by doing some searching - if you are looking to upgrade to a 3950x u might want to consider looking into a x570 mobo as the tomahawk vrms might not be powerful enough (cooling) for the cpu what could cause throttling (bad performance) +if ur going for an high end CPU why risk it going with a low end mobo- so I would say if u can find a good price on a x570 mobo go for it. The 3700x will be fine for a couple of years to come meaning u don't need to upgrade but if you are unsure it is better to be safe than sorry, so I would prob get a good deal on a decent x570 mobo or save a bit more for one if you want to upgrade to a 3900x+ even tho' I have seen builds perfectly fine and stable with a 3900x & b450 mobo so if u are wanting to save some money go for a b450 - along with the note that am4 might be changing in the next few years. (Hopefully the bridge to pcie gen 4 will come soon to make it even more worth it) It is late and I am very tired so if something I said didn't make sense or was straight up dumb, I am sorry!
  5. Hello, I am getting back into minecraft as I have nothing to do. However, I am running into a problem with my game - it stutters every few seconds. I am using Optifine 1.15.2 along with Java 64bit version. My specs are: 3700x & 2070 Super with 16gb ram (stock + 3200mhz). I have given 4gb to Java to see if it would help but it didn't, and I know giving Minecraft more ram sometimes makes it worse but in this case nothing is different. While looking at the fps within the game it is between 150 - 250 without V-Sync and with V-sync is stays around about 144 but every 5 - 10 seconds it drops down to 15 - 20 fps giving me a small stutter what gets annoying very quickly. Just looking for a solution + if you need any more information to ask Thanks in advance.
  6. Hello, yesterday I experienced my 3600 stock cooler stop spinning, I have checked all cables and everything seems to be fine. I have installed a different air cooler into the PC from my other build and it started perfectly fine. I have cleaned out the cooler and yet nothing, very confused however I guess it was perfecting timing as the cooler was sitting at idle temps of about 57 - 65 at stock, that is even with re-applying thermal paste etc. This doesn't add up as my friend had the same setup and he is getting 40 - 50 at idle. I have £60 and want to get the best cpu cooler possible - it can include rgb, however, the colour has to stick with grey/black.
  7. Another thing is that I do trust you and the fact that it will work okay with a b450 board - I just want to explore it more if you understand.
  8. Yes, I am aware of this, however, the ones I have seen is the 3600 and I know it works fine as I have built and used a ton of machines - I just haven't seen the 3700x been paired with it - I want to see all problems it might have or it might not. I want to see if it is okay to use a 3700x daily use with a b450 or should people just save up for the recommended x570 boards having to spend some extra cash. I will be back on in the morning as I have got a full day of exams tomorrow - have a good day
  9. Hello, so I have stumbled across apparently a very common question, does the 3700x perform good on a b450? I have looked around a bit and I have mostly found that it will work fine with some small problems like the XMP not working and that you have to setup it up manually, however, my biggest concern is that will it just fry the cpu due to something like bad vrms, I have read on this forum and on other forums of the motherboard thermal throttling cpus and even breaking them - I have seen some videos but non of them gave a clear answer. One example of this would be the b450 tomahawk max and non max with the 3700x, would this run perfectly fine or will it run with some problems and if so what problems. I am interested in what you say thank you.
  10. Hello, my friend is interested in buying a new gaming pc, he is not interested in overclocking before anyone asks. He has a budget of £1300 but you can go probably up to £50 over. He will be gaming a 1080p with low demanding games and also some triple A games as well. He also wants RGB and I mean a decent amount - this is annoying as the builds I have made don't include RGB and if I was to remove parts and replace with rgb it turns to be over £1400. I have managed to get 3800x and 2070 super or 3700x with a 2080, however, this is really close to going over £1400 when you add rgb fans for a example. I would love to see you guys ideas and builds thank you.
  11. Do you have any other suggestions as the mortar is a great board and I have had experience with them it is just that this person is ruining a low budget for their mobo with a tight £80. I would love it if you have any mobos in mind, thank you.
  12. I am currently making a pc and I am struggling to buy a mobo - the cpu I have gone for is the 3600 meaning amd=AM4 - I have got a couple of mobos but I can't find any reviews on them. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/PCKcCJ/asrock-b450-pro4-atx-am4-motherboard-b450-pro4 https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/kRTzK8/msi-b450m-pro-vdh-max-micro-atx-am4-motherboard-b450m-pro-vdh-max I have a small £80 budget, however I would prefer it to be a bit less. I am up for recommendations and help - thank you.
  13. Np, have a good day/night. xd.
  14. Hi thanks for responding - I am aware of this and that it is significantly better than the 1660ti however I am trying to stay under £800 and rn the build is sitting at about £790 - I am able to go for a blower 5700 sapphire card (£290), however, I haven't had good experiences with blowers cards due to thermals etc. If I do put in a 5700 I can also downgrade the cpu to a 2700 and lose some performance there however gain with 5700. If i have a 3600 + 5700 sap = £833 (around bout) 2700 + 5700= £802 . I you have any obvious solutions I am missing please say - it has been a long day xd. 15. Hi everyone, I am in the market for a new Gaming pc and I am wanting to build my first one - I have a budget of around £800 - The purpose of this pc will be for gaming and for work in the near feature - I have made an amd system and I will be now making a intel system to see how they compare, however, amd is better for price in this case unless I have missed something - here is the amd system (Friends pc part picker account) : PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor £170.47 @ Amazon UK Motherboard Gigabyte B450 AORUS ELITE ATX AM4 Motherboard £84.98 @ Amazon UK Memory Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory £79.98 @ Amazon UK Storage Kingston A400 240 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive £26.11 @ Amazon UK Storage Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive £35.58 @ Aria PC Video Card MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6 GB VENTUS XS OC Video Card £259.99 @ Box Limited Case NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case £69.68 @ CCL Computers Power Supply EVGA BQ 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total £726.79 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-01-16 19:04 GMT+0000 I am able to get the PSU for about £70 odd £ - for the psu I can go for a lower W than 650 I think. This makes it to about £793.28 - I can also swap the 1660 ti for a RX 590 but I think the 1660 ti is a solid choice for this build. I am welcoming of any feedback and pros + cons about this build - I haven't done a ton of research into some of these parts. The case is just a case I put in- it will not be the one I will get but the price will range upto £70 so I just put the H510 (£70). Thanks in advance - Have a nice day.
