  1. Hi, this is a long story ? Current Build: i7 8700K OCd to 4.8GHz ASUS Strix Z390E Gaming 4x8GB 2666MHz Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro Gigabyte RTX 2070 Windforce Samsung 970EVO 256GB SSD WD Blue 2TB HDD 700W Thermaltake PSU A while back (February 2019) my computer suffered from a power flicker of some sort and caused one of my ram sticks to die. I put off getting a replacement set of ram (bc I’m lazy) and stuck with 24gigs. After about 2 weeks, I was having blue screening issues, where the computer would lock up for about 4 seconds, either show a BSOD message or a garbled mess of what I was doing. Then it would reset and act like nothing happened. Eventually it would blue screen seconds when I went into Windows so I decided to completely reinstall it. Seemed to work for about 2 weeks, then more bluescreening. I probably went through the process of resetting windows about 2X a month until August, when eventually finally RMA’ed my ram. I put in the new sticks and everything worked great.. until September when it started bluescreening again. It was at this point when it actually corrupted my windows install, and was forced to reinstall Windows. Before i did, I went and bought a new motherboard and power supply (before had the ASUS Z370E Gaming, and a 650W Thermaltake psu) and again, that fixed the issue for a while until around when RDR2 Came out and it started blue screening again. It seems to be mostly games that cause it, or when I put my computer under a heavy load. Any thoughts on how I should move forward in fixing the system?
