Ok,
So I never built a PC but I have upgraded one in the past. But that has been over 15 years ago that I did it.
My son was given a bare-bones system, MSI B250M, i5 7400, Case, RX480 4gb, and power supply. No RAM, no drives.
I have gotten a basic Samsung SSD for a boot drive, a 1TB WD 7200 RPM Disk Drive, 2 8gb DDR4 Ram Sticks. I also have a 500gb WD Drive with Windows 7 Pro I was planning on using as my Windows 10 upgrade path. I need suggestions on how to get things to work. Should I download drivers first on a thumb drive, or download drivers before upgrading to Windows 10. Can I transfer a Windows to the SSD for a boot drive or should I just let it live on the older Hard drives?
HELP!!
