  1. Hi everyone, I've been having issue with my machine for a few weeks now and I can't seem to work out what it is, I'm hoping people have some ideas Spec CPU - Intel I7-7700K GPU - MSI GTX 1070 armor 8g oc MB - ASUS Prime Z270-K RAM - 32gb Vengeance RGB Pro 3200mhz PSU - Bequiet! pure power 9 700w Bootdrive - Samsung 750 EVO 120gb OS - Windows 10 Pro 64bit Problem My PC is running really slowly compared to only a few weeks ago yet there had been no changes. Chrome would stuttur when moving tabs, games would stutter and have huge FPS drops compared to earlier, I can barely run the likes of Among Us/Minecraft without struggling for 30fps. COD MW dropped from 100+FPS to barely 60FPS Steps taken already Turn it on and off again.... Scan for Malware/Virus' - Nothing found using multiple scanners including Windows Offline tool Updated all drivers - Everything is as up to date as possible Updated BIOS - Hadn't ever done this from purchase, now on latest version None of this helped so I re-installed Windows clean on the Samsung Drive, still terrible performance, tried another drive, same issue I then took apart every part of the system, put it back together and clean installed again, still no improvement making me think its hardware but I don't know what I'd need to replace (I'm happy to upgrade if neccesarry but i was happy with the performace before the issues) Does anyone have any other ideas as I feel my specs should be giving me atleast average performance even if it is a few years out of date Sidenote - Weirdly in Among us when I move my mouse the game freezes, moment i stop it unfreezes, so playing that is impossible, tried 2 mice incase it was connected but both mice do the same thing
  2. Hi all, First post on the forum but long time viewer of LTT Strange one here, help bring back the nostalgic memories for some of you I have a Sandisk M2 1gb memory card that originally came out of the Sony ericsson W910i that has some old videos that I want to try and retrieve. I know the files are on there and can confirm it was working when I last used it, the issue being this was in 2007ish.... I have an M2 memory card reader, but Windows 10 just tells me I need to reformat the drive before I can use it. Does anyone know firstly whether these ran on an obscure file system and secondly whether it needed any proprietary software to read the files? I've tried some googling but it seems 2007 phone information for a dead memory format is not the most talked about thing Thanks in advance for any help PS. Mods i apologise if this is in the wrong section, still getting used to the forum
